Ellie's scene was rushed and no one enjoyed it. Dylan/Amber scene was also rushed. We are all here for the story first and then sex. Without a proper build up if sex is introduced it won't be nice.

I haven't waited 8 years obsessing over this title, but just played the game as it currently is recently, in one go. I can say that lacking unhealthy attachment or weird expectations I've enjoyed Ellie's scene, thankyouverymuch. It came as a result of steady buildup through most of the story so far and hardly rushed, but more of a right conclusion at the point it happens, given Ellie's character established in the game.

Dylan/Amber is another matter, since those two barely interact. But it's also completely different in this regard from Dylan/Sophia, as this pairing occurs aplenty.

I just started playing this in the last few days, so I see a very long development history here that I am not familiar with. What's the story with the Myers sex ed storyline that needs to be patched back in from a previous version? Is this storyline fully cut and abandoned, never to be updated again? Or is it something the devs are planning to continue, but keeping out of the main release due to content rules on whatever platforms they release on?

Because it does. There’s an ongoing stream of teasers every day with no substantial progress updates. Since the last update, a significant buildup of anticipation has been created, suggesting that something major is about to happen between Sophia and Dylan—that their relationship is on the brink of evolving to a point of no return. I was personally hoping for an update around May 1st-2nd, but clearly, that won’t happen. The more likely dates now seem to be the end of May, or if we’re lucky, sometime in mid-May.

Even L&P admitted it was rushed.

I mean, the poster in that quote is talking about difference between scene happening on Day 14 instead of 15. And L&P is the guy who's had you touch fabric for 8 years straight. That he skipped one event there hardly makes the whole storyline "rushed" in my eyes, even if he might think so.

Perhaps that change actually made things flow better than originally planned, because i find the end result paced quite well.
