I'm writing my opinion only, and unlike you, I'm not trying to offend anybody. And I'll keep writing my opinion here whenever I feel someone's writing an unfair comment or fake "fact"...

Anyway, it's not a matter of number of renders..we are talking about respect toward is supporting his VN.

My point is that it is mostly a matter of renders.
You can read posts on his patreon page. almost all of them are supportive of him, and those that are not are mostly from non patreons (you can check yourself...).
Yes, he promised a monthly update when the game was young, and he didn't keep his promise.
That's his first game! Everybody makes mistakes, and he's not perfect... But he's keeping he's steady rendering pace which hadn't change significantly from the beginning of the development.
Now, if you want faster updates than he has to drop something:
1. Drop his other job and college studies - He lowered that goal to 6500$ and hadn't reached it yet.
2. Reduce the number of renders per update
3. Reduce his renders quality
4. Reduce "filler" renders - He already reduced some of it (and yet, some of his patrons, not including me, wants him to add more fillers...)

Imo, Most of his patrons don't want solutions 2 and 3, again, you can read it on his patreon page, and you can't blame him he isn't quiting his other job, when straight from the beginning of the development of his game he mentioned his 6500$ goal (If I'm not mistaken it was even more and he lowered it).

And I also would like it to be a monthly release with tons of renders, but I would certainly not like him to lower his standards or to rush things faster.

Nobody force him to make this game.He choose it.But it's pretty damn obvious that he can't keep it together with work,studies,the game and RL.We all want to do several thigns at the same time but that is simply impossible.
Everybody must choose what is more important to him.

But getting off with the a family member - that's Adultery + Incest meaning it's twice as many hurdles for Sister-Sophia to jump.

Yeah, sad but true.
I can see the reasoning behind it - like with any fantasy RPG, as a player you don't get the badass, ultra-damage, legendary magic sword at the start of the game because then you'd have nothing to work towards.
In porn games the fan-favourite character remains un-fucked for longest to keep players engaged - and now developers are tweaking that rewards-system to string players along.

It's difficult to tell sometimes. But I'm still confident that L&P isn't stringing things along for the continued revenue, mainly because story progression has been consistently slow since the beginning.

To me what l&p is doing is kind of a blackmail (haha i think he has a fetish for that) i mean he told us that if he reach his goal then he can work more and give faster updates so basically is putting conditions, give me more money i give you more content, sorry man this is not a healthy approach to business... you gave stopper as an comparison he always told us that he has a 2 months release schedule and is all what he can offer, even more now he changed that and sayed that when the update is ready(tho is trying to stay in that 2 month period) then he will release it, without putting conditions or terms like if i make that sum of money or reach that goal, that is a healthy honest approach and we can deal with it... so l&p should take the risk if he want's more money to give faster updates and bigger updates and be less proud of himself(we all know what i mean here) by doing this full time, maybe it will work maybe not simple as that... other problems that this guy has it doesn't concern us we all have our own problems to deal with...
