I think L&P will write it in such a way that the blame for the marriage failing lies with Sophia, Liam will once again be seen as the man who makes mistakes but once again just gets his act together and only wants the best for his wife.
But the whole thing could also have been written in such a way that Sophia and Liam spend the evening together in any case because Sophia really wants to save her marriage and has a guilty conscience about her actions in the last few days. And depending on the relationship between the Goodwife and Filthy points, Sophia would react differently to the subject of swinging if Liam brought it up. If Goodwife is in the lead she reacts positively, if it's the other way around, she reacts inwardly pissed off because she's trying to save the marriage and Liam wants to talk about fucking another woman that night. For me, that would be an elegant way to connect the swinger route with the other routes - but it won't happen that way.
