i dont understand why you people start crying about LP not finishing the game ever... he doesnt need to. the issue is that he is too damn slow in developing each update.
This game doesn't need to be finished. It's set up in a way that he just keeps adding to the story, one scene after another, indefinitely.
So if you honestly think that LP will finish the game and you are waiting for that game to end, just leave. It will never be finished.
- He could use the money to add people to help him and speed it up
- He could use the money to rework the VN into an actual sandbox game, or even develop a kind of inzoi/sims game with sofia
- He could use the money to go back to his original roots of a true "choice" game where Sofia can romance anyone in the game
This game doesn't need to be finished. It's set up in a way that he just keeps adding to the story, one scene after another, indefinitely.
So if you honestly think that LP will finish the game and you are waiting for that game to end, just leave. It will never be finished.

I don't honestly believe that he's a virgin but I do think that he's writing for 12 year old virgins. If that's true he's very successful. Such a marked decline in writing style then makes sense. (Unless this is a different Dev). It accounts for Sophia's lowered mental age & her progressively inflated figure as well, both of which occurred when Dylan became the real MC. This new MC developed super powers & also became an avatar for many fans. Some followers used to urge the Dev to "stick to his vision," (despite its changeable nature, even back then), a phrase often repeated in sycophantic responses to criticism. By this time, 8+ years on, I really wish he had.
That tag isn't for the game, it's for those who play the game, and not realizing they're in one.
People are forgetting one thing when they look at AWAM - and that thing is AWAM is not "a game" for L&P. It's very good business. With combined subs from both boosty and subscribestar, he's making $9k+ a month, $110k+ a year, even if all his subs are on lowest level. Put yourself in his shoes - would you be in a hurry to finish such a >>lucrative business<< fast or just enjoy the money that you earn with minimal time and effort. No person with more than two brain cells would do any different than L&P, as long as the masses are putting cash they earned by working 9-5 into this project. This update was finished long ago, when he was posting those teasers, maybe even earlier. Now, he's just "checking the pulse" how long he can drag on with the release while keeping the income of money from subs. My advice to you guys here is the following - forget "progress update", it's all bullshit for the masses. This update is completed already and will come out when L&P gets enough $ according to his calculations. And if by any chance you're one of the subs, please UNSUBSCRIBE. Dont let someone smart make a fool out of you. Even for a $5 a month. Because with $9k a month, honest people can make update in 3 months max. Better give that money to cancer research or something.

I wonder if George RR Martin well finish his next book sooner than we actually seeing sex outside of marrieds on this game?
I have seen in discord general chat someone said LP went on honeymoon so don't expect any update progress until a week or two
or a month. And, after honeymoon, halloween is coming. And this game is not about horror. Its about LOVE. And what day is about love?

He's not on honeymoon. He's only complaining that he had to postpone it to release the update. Chances are he'll be gone for a couple weeks after this update.
The Museum event (last event on PD14) will very likely be released some time next year, making PD14 another one taking 2 years of development.

I think it’s fair to wonder if there will even be a release in 2026. That seems unlikely, but not impossible.

wrong SS does not work the way Patreon does he gets paid per sub so if you subbed today you get charged at same time next month same as other subs they get charged and different days of the month not all at once like they do and also they take out their cut as well with each sub as well. so he is not really collecting all of what it seems he is the 60 is not really 60 and 40 is not really 40 is few dollars off that and more subs he gets more he has to pay % to SS for their cut(which is for each sub not in total like patreon does ) more he makes more they make which im all for them bankrupting his ass at this point but that is besides the point the point is i was getting at was he makes money throughout the month not all upfront in one day . it is somewhere on their page and else where on how they work out their cut and how it works and all that jazz .so no it is not payday for him like what your saying . it is payday for whoever subbed to him on this day yeah but not lump sum though like your thinking .

I won't lie "seeing Sophia have sex with Liam" from the pov of the son who has a crush on his biological mother is like. That wouldn't be traumatising at all I mean yeah he'd be jealous and seeing it would show that there's a lack of strain in the relationship but for a son to be "pushed into depression" from seeing his MOTHER have sex with his FATHER whilst the two are MARRIED TOGETHER WITH NUMEROUS CHILDREN.
