Not sure if we want them to fuck half the neighborhood, I mostly stop watching those stuff.... I want build up, make us love some character.
But this dev is mean, there was this symbian scene, after that nothing seemed to have ever happened.

thats what i realized as well with me. It's the build up, chase, how does the mother get with her son, how do the sparks develop so much until it's no longer avoidable, then release. Maybe the dev can create some new ways to explore the relationship between them and they get experimental, but most devs fumble this by making her a whore or the son becomes a harem god and his mother is just some gal in the group.
I believe that the incest genre has a huge market comparable to hallmark movies. A wife and mother is just the same thing. We all know what we are getting, and we all want to see how it ends, eventhough we know that it will end.

At this rate we are not getting even a whole one game day in one actual year.
At this rate, which is getting slower and slower as the year passes by, the future of this game does not look very good.
The game and story is extremely good no doubt about it but the progress is getting very slow.
I wouldn't mind in waiting a whole year if it means we get a whole playable day rather than bits and pieces of the day in breaks.

Dude, what year are you talking about? This playable day has been in development for over 2 years (763 days), and let me remind you that there will be one more update. I wouldn't be surprised if the following days take even longer.

OK, official change of position from me.
I can understand creative part taking time. Have been there myself. Revisions, searching for an idea, reworking stuff you are not happy with - I have no problems with any of that.
If it takes L&P 4 months - let be it.
The post scenes creating part though is taking the piss. From my own experience it does not take a month to go and post process 1000 pics. This stuff is easily automated in PS with scripts and you only want to change anything between the scenes to keep stuff uniformed. This update has 5 parts which means 5 different filters and adjustment layers. Maybe small tweak here and there if something is off. You can do that in a day with scripts, especially when you know what you are doing and I am assuming L&P does have the understanding of how PS works.
Coding you would keep the progress as you work. You can insert the image as soon as you have the file created. Any changes you will just keep the name the same or overwrite the original. Also Renpy is not that complex to work with, AWAM paths do not branch that much, and he has years of experience.
Translation I have little exposure to but theoretically as soon as you have the script you can translate. AI does great job these days. It's not the era of google translate anymore.

All of this resulted in change of stance from me in only subscribing when the update is out. This way I still support the project but L&P only gets paid when he delivers. He wants more money from me - he needs to release more content.

Yes, it's quite rational and correct to subscribe after the update is released, especially if you liked it.
But this update will be good, probably really, judging by what I see.
I suspect that he got a little carried away with AI animations, which I don't understand as well as I do 3D.
I don't know how many attempts it takes to generate what you need on a local machine, which means he's wasting a lot of attempts, and considering that it's L&P, there will be a million of them.

Mister Sandman must've forgot that L&P's postponed his "honeymoon" for about 5 months now. His "wife's" been waiting around so her husband can create porn instead. Priorities, ladies and gentlemen. Would've been easy enough to stop charging your supporters for a month and go on honeymooon. Win-Win. That is if you're telling the truth...
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it's likely L&P's going on vacation after the next release unless his "wife" filed for divorce already, so the Musuem event will probably take a couple more months, making this the possibly longest development cycle for a single PD (like every PD, new records baby).

It's just the dialogues good, story is trash and RANDOM with many unfinished parts, the Dev always jumping and ignoring previous events.
