I sincerely hope that the game takes only one direction. I hope that in the end the bond between Sophia and Dylan turns out to be so full of complicity and harmony that all the other characters slowly leave the scene or remain very much in the background. As an epilogue, I imagine Dylan investigating why his father is so absent from family life and find out that it is simply because he has a relationship with another woman. Sophia would have a depressive crisis but at this point Dylan would seize the opportunity and ask his mother to become his girlfriend and she would accept. The first few times the two would go out into the car pushing themselves to the next town and in safe areas they would masturbate each other in the car and then at some point he would ask her to get fucked and the boy would lose his virginity thanks to his mother in a motel outside the city.
I'm sure the game is going to have multiple endings with the other support characters (Ellie, Patricia, Dylan, and Sam). I too and hoping to see the bond with Dylan and Sophia then I see now. Right now, you can definitely see the bond growing and get stronger with Ellie, Patricia, and Sam. With Dylan, Sophia seems to help Dylan out of Pity, and She feels an obligation to help him with his "Shyness". When Dylan and Sophia have their moment, it could be at a motel or even in the same house, when no one is around, like the tub scene in this version.
As far as the father being absent from the family, L&P commented that it's due to work which you Sophia reference many times in the story. But there could be a plot twist and he could be cheating and L&P was hiding it until the right time. But I am sort of curious about the casino scene in this new version. As future updates become available, I think it obvious at this point that there is going to be an indecent proposal to help pay off the debt, but if she declines the offer, will the Mob take out Liam for the debt he owes. Only time will tell.
