As for Fashion Business, the biggest appeal of the game is that the MC is a strong headed woman and an absolute bitch who doesn't enjoy sexual acts. Even when she has been through the most degrading stuff, she keeps her will strong and always thinks positive that she will get back everything she lost. The day she is broken is the end of game actually.

Sorry, I don't see it that way. The fashion business game is designed for people who believe (beautiful) women deserve all these indignities simply because they exist. Here men can live out their fantasy of revenge on women because they believe they deserve more attention. I've played the game for a while, Maybe Monica is supposed to be a strong woman, but she's just the caricature of one. It is kept in this state, does not go through any development, because the fans always have reasons to want to "fuck" her again. Just like the figure of Melanie (?), Sovereign at the beginning, she knows how to lead all the assholes around her with her sex appeal, gets her "fair" punishment as the developer makes her a whore and she "enjoys" the whole thing leaves. The game is full of bare skin and sex but almost completely devoid of human behavior.
I can only agree GingerSweetGirl a Sophia drawn (shown) like the MC from fashion business would just suck.

L&P has said that the tasks themselves will not be that extreme but what is L&P definition of extreme.
Also the way that he wrote this post does leave it open to interpretation.

This is not the ringing endorsement you may think it is. Is it too much to ask that we should have fewer games that put women into this position? Do we need games that set women up for unpleasant sexual encounters; and then justify it with flimsy logic to avoid accusations of rape? "She wasn't forced to fuck him, she wanted to get _______ and used sex as a tool to achieve it even though she hated every second of it and took no pleasure in the experience." Like, really? Do we really want Sophia to have unenjoyable sex that is coerced from her? But that's the problem with blackmail stories, right? Either the woman grows to enjoy it which breaks the tension, or she gets coerced into sex and the game finds any excuse to justify it as not rape.

None of this is meant as an accusation of you Sabertooth__ , you're just stating a fact. It's just super frustrating that this is a well known trope in adult games. It happens over, and over, and over again. Putting aside all the ethical implications, it's just lazy writing at this point. I hope AWAM does something new with Aiden, but I'm already wavering in my support. If we get a situation where Sophia fucks Aiden and we get nothing but shots if her unhappy face and inner monologue of her saying "it's ok that I chose this. I'm doing it for Dylan. I just need to get through this. I hate Aiden. I hate that this feels good. God I'm so sorry Liam." I'll fucking puke.

Some games provide alternate routes through blackmail, anything from the MC being the same sweet girl she was at the start forced to have sex, to a rampaging pleasure-seeking nymphomaniac, with no morals or worries about STDs, to a cynical drug-ridden slag, & various shades between. I only ever play the first option because I don't want the protagonist's personality to change out of all recognition. I'd rather have a good woman coerced into something bad than do it from free will.

I'm now convinced that blackmail should never have been a part of this game, which would have been all about extra-marital affairs & incest with children & age fetish & shota & newly discovered lesbianism & broken marriages & organised crime & whatever extra kinks Dylan turns out to have. Apparently these are all preferable, even taken together, to any form of coercion. It could have been called 'An Unfaithful Wife & her adventures in the big city.'
Now I see the light.

As it stands, it's going to be a year before the 4th task, so I won't be worrying unduly about it in the meantime. Once Sophia decides to complete the tasks willingly I'll be gone. I'm staying for now because I'm curious about Sam's concert. In the meantime I'll try to post less on this thread because I've never knowingly engaged in the practice known as "flogging a dead horse." There are a lot of stories L&P could mine with DLC:

1. More story focused on Alyssa and Zac. What goes on in their house and how close are they?
2. How Aiden became such a douche and how he got involved with gangs.
3. Who is Mr. Murray for real? I still suspect he's some kind of peeping creeper.
4. The back story on Don Morello and how his brother got in over his head.
5. How did Ava Myers become so religious?
6. What's the deal with the movers? Are they vegans and against climate change or just oafish buffoons who like looking at women's butts?

He could on forever with back stories on these characters.

Yes Indeed it should be interesting but it is also a little off putting for me. The fact that doing Aiden's task becomes a voluntary choice of Sophia dulls down the storyline for me. If this the only blackmail storyline it should have a pressure to do the tasks till the end. All other storylines already offer Sophia the liberty to do things voluntarily.
Also I kinda fear what Extremes are we talking off. It would also really suck if all the slow burn till now just suddenly starts taking leaps. Personally speaking it would make me feel that what was the point of the slow burn if it was all supposed to start taking jumps in the corruption.

I generally just don't care for the MC characters in the corruption games and only make the filthy choices but with Sophia I do care and that's why I guess it kinda makes me sad that the sudden progression might actually make her just like the other MC's in such games who will just go all the way on every route and I will stop caring for the character and the story.

I just don't want that to happen but L&P's recent post that you put here and the last update really makes me feel that it will happen. L&P does not look like he is wanting to take any steps back but instead keep going more and more extreme.

I agree - there is a fine line for me. I don't want to see Sophia forced and disliked that Aiden was so brutish at the end of what was previously an incredibly erotic scene. I want gentle coercion in that Sophia feels compelled to do it to protect Dylan.

I have said before I wanted that escalation of tasks so that each individual task is "only a little bit further than the last, so what's the harm", without Sophia realising the cumulative impact of how far she has gone.

I was expecting and even hoping for an acceleration in the pace of corruption as we move towards the half way point of the announced 30 Playable Days. But this was a BIG jump. I can live with it because of the supposed anonymity of Sophia wearing the mask, although I still think there are revelations to come about the art class.

But with Task Four being at school, I am nervous of how far it will go. I don't want a backward step but I don't want it pushed too extreme in front of her students. Its a fine line....

I'm actually pleased that Ava and her kids didn't rank higher. That said, I'm shocked Patricia and Alyssa don't have more votes.

I have loved both Patricia and Alyssa scenes. But too many of the kids complain about "not another lesbian update" because they don't count it as sex unless it's penetrative.
