I dont evaluate the game on old or low criteria i evaluate the game about sex and the lack of said sex.
The quality of the game so far is non existing. Once i see a sex scene i can tell you exactly how i rate the game from 1 to 10.

There is nothing to understand. If you make an action movie without action its a failure. If you make a sex game without sex its a failure. Ppl already hyping this game with 0 content in it.

Im not naive enough to follow such behaviour. If the dev wants praise or my patreon support i need to see a sex scene.

I got contacted by a few devs in this forum for constructive critique which i give for free about writing and how to get better.
And in this case its very simple.
Deliver a sex scene and then i can agree or not agree of it being a masterpiece. I cant rate a game about sex without sex in it.

However if the sex scene doesnt deliver what the hype promised the game will fall behind compared to other devs.
Nothing more and nothing less.

If you're talking about render quality, I agree. But the story itself is anything but "raising the bar". Like the situation in the subway, Sophia got out of that oddly simple. She had already determined a way of escape practically the moment it happened, and without even a scratch. The dramatic experience fizzled out too early.

You again try to judge a quality game according to the slag standards. The author wrote a story of all 30 days. God forbid, he will begin to rewrite the plot for the sake of impatient games, this will be the end of the game. The fact that the author is making a serious game, and not cheap stupid porn is a plus, not a minus. Everything has its time.

Its not a fact its an assumption on another genre. To prove your point the dev would need to post his game will never have any sex scenes and boom instant money drop by 50% at least. Cause it is a Sex VN and not a Story VN only.
It only works as ppl expect sex in the future.

You miss the point. If its a Sex less VN it is wrongfully in this forum. If it is a Sex Based VN it needs sex in order to gain money or keep the money as blue balling never works for long.

And nope again. 0.5 is not at the very beginning either. The game wasted more renders and pointless dialouge in the build up then some other completed games combined.
I know my writing and this is BS you defend for no other reason then your opinion. A build up can be done till 0.3 version not till 0.5 versions or further. I guarantee the next update will be as this one.

Yet instead we do this in every update again with the difference that we get yet another new character and then another etc.

This is not how you write a story this is how you fail to transition from build up to main plot which btw is non existant. Otherwise please tell me what the main plot of the game is.

This is an example of how this works in short.

Introduction.
Story foreshadowing.
Build up of characters
transition into main plot.
Side plots.
Main Plot.

Build up for climax of main plot.
Characters personality change (the hero overcomes his fears etc.)
Climax of the main Plot.
Transition into the aftermath.
Aftermath.
End.

The Build up of characters can never be this big. Otherwise you fall off at other points especially if you only made 30 game days you need to fill or in this case have left to cramp all that into it.

While i agree that there are such games as you mentioned you have to realize that the western society is alot more open with sex and porn as the asian market is.
Therefore you can get sales by the slow paced sex genre but my point was that you need to add sex and not wait forever with it or your own hype will break you the neck in the long run.

Ok, different sale methods are a fair point. But man, saying that western society is more open with sex than one of the most sexualized cultures on this planet which is Japanese is just silly. There is a reason why real market with adult games exists only there.
As for sales, title I gave you is like a AAA amongst VNs. It earned probably more than all our Patreon games altogether. VNs of this type are almost mainstream in Japan and I can agree that profits they make are nothing comparable with our small market.

The people who defend this game never seem to address the issues about pointless scenes and the dumb stuff like how every five minutes in her life, 5th graders are always falling on her dick first. The slow pace is what they like, ignoring that proper build up should be character development not stupid scenes of Sophia's shirt ripping constantly.
