This proves me that I did good when I cancelled my patroning him after more than a year of being... teased and pulled my money out. Too bad (only for him, of course), because this novel had some potential.
But, especially because the huge lot of money he's still earning without deserving it nor visible results in story's progression, all that seems driving, to me, to a bluff. And I'm not positively alluding to sex here, there is a huge lot of stuff left behind unfinished instead, as all of us after all can clearly realize.
It's the very first time I'm feeling obliged to express myself in a such way, but when it's enough, it's enough.
And I don't let anyone to try fooling me in a such arrogant way.

I just wasted 3 hours reading this.

From his post history on Patreon, I'm guessing the dude has been working on his game for more than a year and a half and yet before the v0.08 update there was nothing close to Sophia being corrupted very much. Corruption of the character being slow and all makes it much better but it took this game a year and a half of updates?

I won't comment on the writing because, to be fair, I sped up most of the dialogue because I was uncomfortable about how much of a creep Dylan was (I'm really okay with incest in porn but hot damn Dylan's actions were creepy as fuck). Nothing in the game really worked for me except for the club scene, and the dude just basically dropped a big 'fuck you' by cutting it short and telling us that the next possible meet-up for the club dudes and the girls are on a "Friday or a Saturday"; the v0.08 game ends on Monday night and each update we get like 2-3 playable days I think?

I get that delaying the actual action to later updates blue-balls your audience and makes them want to throw money at every update, but for a year and a half? I'm surprised the dude can make over 5k a month blue-balling horny dudes tbh. Props to him I guess since his writing (that I mostly skipped) must be god-tier.

At least we MIGHT get to see the husband potentially losing the house and Sophia possibly having to do something for the don in order to save it in the next update. Not interested in creep Dylan and his beta advances on his mom at all.

TL;DR:
Spent 3 hours blue-balled hoping for some action with Sophia, and next update to best scene (drunk NTR with club dudebros) is probably 2 updates away - even then likely to still get blue-balled. Also, Dylan is creepy AF and I want to see him get cucked.

EDIT: My bad, the next update to the dudebros is likely much, much farther away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Each update takes nearly 50-55 days and they are of a half day bruh. So even if we talking friday as the day for the club dudes , thats 5 days away. It takes him one year to create 3 in game days so what you want is 1.6 years away

Huh. My bad, I'm new to this game and I was just throwing a rough guesstimate on the release. The game must have some god-tier writing to earn that much by blue-balling dudes - not that I'll actually go back to read it because Dylan.

I'll probably come back to this game at the end of the year if the next update proves to be disappointing. Thanks for the heads up

I'm estimating more than 400 renders for the next update. Especially the school scene was very elaborate to create! There are around 22 word pages of text for the next update. The last updates had "just" between 12-14 pages of text. So if you don't skip like hell through it, you will have definitely more gaming time than all the last updates! Especially if you try out both routes, sending Dylan to the boarding school or not!

Now seriously that means we can forget about 0.085 this month.
Not sure that we can even expect it at the first half of August.
And suddenly his words,that he will try his best to release 0.085 before the middle of September,make sense.
BTW I am actualy afraid that now he will need to make 2 games at the same time-one with Dylan to the boarding school and one with him still at the old school.

It promises to be delicious update. It seems to raise the bar again with well above 400 renders, probably very good renders as usual and so much text. I don't mind anything against, I like to read. From that point of view I am all for that, waiting impatiently once again. That's good. What is not so good is how much time of waiting. I expected 0.85 update not longer then two months after the previous one, around first or second week of august. Now I am beginning to doubt if it is real. Can anyone dispel my doubts, I would be grateful.

If you consider Created Scenes = 100% and Rendered Scenes = 100% (total 200%), and he's currently only at 55% and 20% respectfully (total 75%) then he's not even 1/2 way through the update yet. By my math still a long ways to go.

A lot of people are screaming "greedy dev" and a bunch of others are screaming back at those people, but not many people are taking this into consideration.

Realistically when the game starts branching down in different paths it's going to exponentially slow down, regardless of whether or not you agree with the pace this game is developing at, if he doesn't hire extra help it's a fact that either the updates are going to get unbelievably short or it will take him, in my opinion, three times as long to put out updates as the game branches out. Either that or the quality will dip hard, the writing's on the wall.

Yeah, hopefully he'll start warming up to the idea of extra help. Even just for the little things like transition shots or the smaller scenes.

I was thinking, L&P has said there's going to be changes in the way Sophia dresses for the Filthy Path later on in the game, as her corruption starts to show through.
We've already started to see it, but it's been isolated to a few scenes (Bra vs no Bra for the the Classroom scene in the next update, her cheerleader outfit on Game-Night, Bikini 1 or 2 for the family beach event, etc) but when she really starts sluttifying her wardrobe he's going to need to render two versions of every scene across the whole day - even just the establishing shots of her getting in the car or walking down a hallway.

I'm content to wait, don't know about many others here though. I just hope he's prepared for that.

It won't double the renders. Sure he will have to make some extra renders for every branch, but the scenes where Sophia is decent would be much shorter, except the good wife scenes
