We are seeing the beginning of the end here... Its evident that the Dev is bored and doesn't care anymore, and who can blame him/her.. 7-8 years, and no end in sight??.. It's not just the renders that are AI, but read the narrative!!!... The dialogue in the story is no longer L&P.. The words, expressions and descriptive narration are different and have obveriouly been AI generated... I have been saying for a long time now that AI is not the answer... AI is the end of creativity, originality, the the content we all enjoy and love.. I myself have not and will not use it.. and if this means that I age myself out and can no longer have a reader base then so be it.. But time will tell how this all plays out.. If the Dev has a family now his free time will be greatly reduced... He/she either needs to hire the team that has always talked about, or suffer the criticism of leaning on AI crap, as it seems the games path has degraded into.. The opinions here dont mean shit, and i dont know how his subsriber base as reacted, but if as we seem to know the game is $ driven, then fallout with subs over the changes may be the games only salvation.. My two cents.
I, for one, Love how you tell your version of AWAM and as I said awhile back, I'm your fan for life. Keep doing what you do. Your fan-base is destined to increase BECAUSE you have a great story to tell. You Are right though, those that are paying attention to the story and not just for potential sex scenes and artwork saw this coming a Long time ago and No amount of censuring will Change that fact.

ST-9Pol,
You are making very lucid points. If we look at AI as it stands today, we see a technology in its infancy. It is directed (read: master-slave relationship) via prompts rather than collaboratively creating with the artist. Right now we present the AI of our choice with a static image, or no image at all, and expect animation produced by way of commands.
In the case of L&P or anyone else starting with a DAZ creation, the artist's creation is layered over the AI's source model which is often a 35-year-old woman from Beijing. When the static image offered by the artist is commanded to move unknowns are introduced in the successive frames, and the AI borrows from its source model to make up for the uncertainty. This is why we see morphing in "our Sophia" as the animation progresses. The same goes for the writing. When we prompt the AI it borrows from Hemingway, King, and any other published author it can get its hands on. The grammatical errors disappear and some level of continuity is restored, but the content risks becoming antiseptic. I realize that you already know all of this, and this is why I am strongly in your camp as long as AI remains in the master-slave infant stage it is now.
Over time it is my hope that AI will become a collaborative tool that agrees to use the artist's creation as the source model which will mitigate much of the morphing problem. This will require more work up-front from the artist to give the AI the information it needs to work without much uncertainty. In this matured AI collaboration I see the AI providing feedback to the artist when the uncertainty rises above some set level within a closed loop system. This system requires more than additional prompts from the artist, but rather real work to address the lack of source reference the AI needs to do the grunt work in animation and in the writing. In this collaboration there are prompts coming from the artist and from the AI when it is in doubt. When we reach this level of AI maturity, there will be heavy human contribution to the final product and in my estimation the result returns to an artform again.
Even when AI matures to this state I am sure there will be a "lazy mode" that can be switched on for those who are not interested in the artist's contribution, and just want the product. Lazy mode will have its place for PTA meeting posters and the like. However, anyone familiar with AI collaborated artwork will see through the lazy mode product and reject it if someone tries to "Milli Vanilli" their audience.
I am completely with your assertion. Artwork requires heavy participation from the human artist if the inspired creation is going to be presented in the final product. Perhaps soon, AI will find its balanced place in our artistic world as the collaborating tool that it can be.
Sincerely, Jack.

who even is this Haru guy? where does he came from... thats so random.. my heart ached:/
Because if you get into his discord and check the other paid users profiles, they are a bunch of weird indians and western fat beard weirdos who vote for sex with childs and hate every adult in the novel because they feel threatened by them.

Haru is there magically placed infront of Sophia, and she feels interested in the creepy small dick assian, so LP's weird fans could feel represented. Its a 4th wall wink basically.

Okay, so started playing the latest version. I hadn't played AWAM in a couple of years.
I don't remember the grammar being this bad. That's odd for a game this popular. But, we're not here for the grammar, are we? :ROFLMAO:

Reviews. Reviews are always the best part of this animated story. The graphic quality is very high, yes! It has a protagonist who is highly desired by her followers. Its creator knows how to manipulate, after all, it's been seven years and over 8000 pages of comments. Many are indignant, tired, and disappointed. But this is a forum where we love "alternative" ways to achieve something! Without paying for it. After all, there are the fortunate nobles who do it with nobility and elegance. For me, it's ZERO disappointment; this process is recurring. The biggest challenge for the developer will be when, and that day will come, Sophia will give a blowjob, have wild vaginal or anal sex. And then... Oh... We'll have another avalanche of disappointment because it wasn't like this or that. There are many interesting stories in this F95 FORUM, and the final result is surprising and leads to the same result: to appease digital pleasure. The next update will be February, March... June, or December 2026... 2029, or ABANDONED! I find this last point unlikely, considering what I've read, this "entertainment" is a good source of funding that makes it worthwhile.

Stop crying. But do use it. Lots of sarcasm, irony, and humor to comment on this beautiful and magnificent work.

ARTWORK.

Well, well… One of the worst updates I've ever seen.
There are some updates that could more or less be considered acceptable… I mean, a few years ago, the developer justified their inability to progress with their obsession with image detail, but now, with the use of AI, which significantly worsened the only good thing about this project—the visuals—it completely exposes their poor creative ability and their unwavering determination to continue taking advantage of the naive who think they're donating money to a decent developer.

The only thing left for this project of four hundred thousand isolated chapters, without a connecting thread, without a story, without a plot, and now without even anything decent in 3D, are the fan art pieces.

This guy develops an erotic project in a place where pornography is consumed?! If this developer is so averse to pornography, he should stick to publishing in erotic literature bars and stop wasting his time on these porn sites… Of course, if we read his writing on an erotic literature site, he'd be in the electric chair. Game deleted, and I won't download it again even if the developer pays me.

Thanks for your detailed reply... I do whole heartedly agree with you, but I fear the level of AI (and let's not forget we don't even have a real AI yet, this is only A.G.I. branded as something it is not) that you hope for in the future is many many years away from being something real... My comment that I knew would be controversial, and it proved so from the reactions it received mixed from hearts, likes, shock, anger and disagreement is exactly as I had hoped... Art is in the eye of the beholder, whether written or drawn, and my view is only one of 1000's on this forum, "my two cents".. But the AGI systems being used, and to be clear I am not just referring to the animations but the assisted rendering as well, is completely without the ability of any feeling which, for a loss of the correct word to use to describe this, I will call it Wisdom... A writer or artist, and L&P considers himself both, has the ability over time learning his craft, to impart nuance into the art and narrative that the AGI can attempt to copy and emulate, but does not have the ability to know when and how it should be used. I have noticed a shift in the comments here over the last 12months or so, where there is now a push back against the use of AGI in games, comments citing "AI Slop" is coming up more and more and I find it positive that people are seeing this for what it is.
My view is that L&P no longer enjoys what he does, it has become a grind and so shortcuts are logically taken... When something that you used to like doing morphs into something that becomes a chore, then corners will be cut, and it's time to start something new.

I guess you're right, and it's sad. But I must say there are a lot of people who like it. That is, each product has its own audience. The big question for me is, does the author like the result of the work done? I would like to know his frank, honest answer.

Hello old friend... I am not discounting that there are still fans that like how the game is progressing and also support the dev's use of AGI tools to progress the updates... But I think that you make a good point that if he/she was completely honest would he be able to say that he is happy with the direction of how this has gone... Something that will never be known, of that I'm sure.
