Perhaps it should be specified in OP that AWAM is intended for a mature audience and not teenagers or young adults...

I thought this game is a kind of guide for young men to teach them how to approach a mature woman and guarantee success , and not the other way around, how a mature woman must dress and behave to fish for youth. It would be against nature, you are struggling to learn and the solution is to unlearn.

For Sophia's outfit, there is something very illogical from the point of view of the script.
Because if she doesn't wear a bra (which would make sense with this kind of outfit) it would go against everything she explained before:

True, I brought that point up quite a while back. This dress is literally saying "give me attention" and doesn't suit the place and occasion Sophia is attending. I seriously don't understand what was in L&P's head when he decided to keep this as an option.

And as KillJoys mentioned this game isn't going in a very nice direction. The reason why I liked the game is only because of two things, the visuals and the writing.
With time the visuals got better but the writing is slipping. I am okay with every scene every fetish as long as he can make it believable , as long as it is well written. The last update kinda dulled the writing. The sudden jump in corruption didn't help either. The whole update though decent left a bad aftertaste. It felt so different from the rest of the game.
I kinda feel that writing more daring scenes or more explicit scenes aren't his comfort zone. So the writing falters and will continue to weaken as the days go forward.

I also want to say that writing an entire game this long full of erotic and porno scenes while adhering to logic, believability , realism is impossible, I don't believe any writer can. With time it is bound to fall

I have also posited there may be the option to opt out of the Andy/Cathy event. I'm not optimistic but I am hopeful, that we will be allowed to choose to stay.

You don't have to attend the Cathy event to keep this path open. The appointment for a swinger event or the order for the organization of a bachelor party can also take place without the presence of Sophia.

We'll see if there are some inner thoughts in the choice of the dress for the concert.
It could be also a sign of the increased corruption or simply because of the poll or simply a coincidence.
I'd stick to my theory that, given how focused on details he is, the dress won't play a major role in the event, otherwise he would not have left the choice to the patreons.

Her internal monologues at the last Sam event were pretty straightforward in terms of her affection for Sam. She ended up hoping that he saw her masturbating. She admitted that in a different world, under different circumstances, Sam and Sophia could be a couple. Disregarding the fact that the choice of clothing does not suit the event, it is not as if it would be unusual under these circumstances that Sophia does not wear a bra. She WANTS Sam to see her that way even when she feels guilty about her behavior.

it sounds a bit like the biker suit of the 3rd task, when he reduced the cleavage ("fits the task better" and "more realistic") and he said that anyway the ride and the suit had nothing to do with the task.

Here it seems that the concert is just the pretext and if there is action it won't be during the concert. Which is in a way a good news, as probably he won't spend too much time for the concert itself, with locations, assets etc. And the concert itself seems to be for a very small crowd, but this we knew already (my interpretation of "...doesn't go to a rock concert").

Last sentence seems to imply an inner thought to "justify" the choice of the dress

Welp, this really isnt the issue as he has branched this in so many directions. Its the unwillingness to get help or share the workload. The game is bigger than him or a single developer. Each release has a lot of content, but it is moving east-west more than north so to speak.

Exactly my point from an earlier post (though you probably said it better). After the task and the side job where does she go with Sam. She actually likes him so there must be something happening or his path crashes. Here she is screaming for his attention. Will she just be a face in the crowd for him (he knows she is there) until the end when she moves to the front for his reward. That is the question. Where does she take this? Does not matter what she is wearing that is the question. where does she take Sam and where does Sam then take her. Granted, this will at most be Pixil lite.

Seems to me he has alluded to the concert part being minor so there must be a more involved Sam part. The dress plays the role he wants to keep Sophia classy (He is losing that part of the game so grasp any straw) as she and Sam disappear into... who knows? Let the speculation commence.
