Very interesting opinion, but most importantly optimistic!
I want to say, as I have said more than once, I am concerned about the L&P's drive towards conditional realism. His view of realism is a very subjective concept! What in his understanding is real and what is not, we will find out when he finishes work on AWAM.

But we clearly have reason to be optimistic!

For example, before the last update, I assumed that out of the three events that were possible at that time with Vicki and her boyfriend, there would be something different, but not a trip to the sauna. I assumed it was still early for Sofia. But we now know how far she has come.

Therefore, I think L&P is quite capable of surprising us, both in a good way and in a bad way!

LP is a master playing with plausible things. He is developing the VN and all the events that happened to Sophia in less that a month in San Alejo and we watch all of them as plausible things. That's the success of this game.

"plausible" is a good choice of word by Rich in that post you linked.

Putting it back into AWAM context, it is not "realistic" that Sophia, a happily married mother of two teenagers and a school teacher should cheat on her husband by getting so corrupted in just 30 Playable Days. But one you set that as broadly the timeframe for this VN to take place (give or take one week time jump so far and the apparent cancellation of future time jumps), then we have to look at the various scenes as if they are "plausible".

Now I don't want to get into endless arguments as to which scenes are "plausible" (as I and many others can immediately think of at least one recent scene that is not "plausible") but it is still a good choice of word to use to discuss whether or not scenes fit in with the overall one month story arc. Now L&P has certainly strained the boundaries of "plausibility" but for me, with one exception, he has not broken them. So personally I still find the story as engaging as when I first discovered AWAM.

The next day at Dylan's we will have the choice between Sophia and Maria and then between Elli and Sophia. These are likely to be either-or decisions for Dylan. I wonder when Dylan will discover all of his fetishes that KillJoys keeps referring to when Dylan is repeatedly denied the opportunity to do so. I mean that the thought of incest doesn't bother him, he's a voyer and likes older women, we already knew after the second game day.

In this context, I remember what Dylan would have to offer his mother at some point besides a big cock. It cannot be a sexual experience. And with all the experience that Sophia has gained then Dylan is simply uninteresting. Aiden would be the far better partner in terms of sexual fantasy. And if there are really swing events or threesomes then Laim would again be the better partner. So if L&P doesn't get faster here in the development of Dylan, the fundamentals of the Dylan / Sophia relationship will remain implausible.

Alley_Cat , It's speculation, of course, but he based it on the next P.D. break out. I'm not sure if there will be a threesome between Sophia & Marie with Dylan. The only true hint is the car ride from the Yoga event and what Patricia said after the class was over to Dylan, which is the only hint of a threesome right now with Sophia/Patricia and Dylan. But L&P indeed said he doesn't want to create a harem, and he already proved that by stopping Dylan from following Sophia, if you send him to boarding school (Amber) and Sophia hooking him up (Emma). It is most likely that the same option will happen with Marie and Ellie.

Paris = Dylan
Sophia = Aphrodite
Marie = Athene
Claire = Hera

Best choice: Sophia.
The other two women wouldn't be pissed off if Dylan chooses his mother. Possible end of the Marie Route for Dylan.

Best choice for Dylan: Marie.
The other two women (mothers) would not be very offended and would understand that he chooses Marie. Safe end of the Sophia route for Dylan.

Worst choice: Claire.
Marie would be pissed off because Dylan prefers her mother to her. Possible end of the Sophia Route and safe end of the Marie Route for Dylan.

It's that Marie will pursue Dylan regardless of whether or not you're playing the Dylan route (as long as you play the Yoga event) that leads me to believe she might be an exception.

Does anyone know if Dylan will be at the salon event for those that chose the Alyssa event instead of the Yoga event? Because if you chose the Alyssa event, this will be Dylan's first chance to meet Marie. Which would also be my preference for those that send him to boarding school, instead of him being an idiot and somehow spending his bus money.

So the finality would not be Sophia but 'Helen of Sparta'
