JOHN has had my eye for awhile now and to be honest I feel like the last AWAM update overshadowed the last JOHN update even though in JOHN the scene went to a higher level if I remember correctly.
Oh god, let's not bring JOHN into this conversation. JOHN's development may be an even bigger clusterfuck than AWAM's. It's all so frustrating because JOHN literally got it's start in response to frustration over AWAM's development.

i never said that. zoey takes care of patricias horses.
"Takes Care"

Mob; fix a problem, usually ends in a death.
Porn; screw the problem, usually ends in creampie.
Local municipality; charge the problem a large fee, usually ends in lawsuit.
Electric, water and gas utility; disconnect the service to the problem, usually ends in a large fee.
Gang; drive by the problem and shoot at it, usually ends in a death.

So as you can see "takes care" of ______ can have a lot of meanings.

consider that lp is in the top of the best developers in terms of complying (not necessarily on time but within an acceptable margin) with the delivery of high quality products.

Compared to various artists in the environment, he is one of those who complies and does not become milk cows with the public
l and p it the greatest milker

3. What is Sophia's maiden name?
Unknown for now.
34) Do you know Sophia's maiden name?
Ferdinand
Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I have the distinct feeling that both the form and substance of L&P's replies to anyone interested in the plot developments of his game seem more and more inspired by magic 8-ball logic.

The answer to the question about Sophia's maiden name, on the other hand, reminds me a lot of the film .
I think L&P was probably listening to something by Franz Ferdinand when he answered this question.
Anyway, as for Sophia's maiden name, we will almost certainly know when her parents arrive from their holiday in New Zealand on Tuesday (PD17 - Day 24: in about 4-5 years' time).

yeah despite all the grudges we hold against lp, we have to agree upon the fact his game is the best on the market now. Even great games like manofhouse, milfcity, beingadik, desires still cant compare to awam
I don't agree with your supposition on this.

You certainly have a right to your opinion but there are, for me, multiple AVN's that are better than AWAM.

I'll give two brief examples:

Chasing Sunsets - up to rev 0.7 right now and likely to be completed within the next 15 - 21 months (versus 2+ decades for AWAM)
It has great renders, better music, an intriguing story, some fantastic humor

Summers Gone - great story, some of the best music in any AVN, top quality renders and animations.

I like AWAM - don't get me wrong - and I am intrigued by the journey of Sophia as well as the journeys of Ellie and Dylan.

However, L&P is a very inflexible creator who has a great 'product' that he insists on doling out a small dollop of story every 3-4 months.

This is his choice, but for supporters like me, I will eventually give up on any $ support and limit my hopes only to some great discussion on F95.

We will have more and better discussions than the dialogues that will be found in AWAM because we will, in part, have 20+ more years to create those discussions and we are, in many ways, a better team in the way we interact than anything L&P has shown us.

One of my favorite recent scenes was the Dylan Amber scene.

This was a great scene, both well-written and well-rendered.

4+ months later, that is all it is.

There is No immersion

There is no true sense that a story is being told.

There is only the sense of being given a series of vignettes - short scenes about characters that we enjoy, but whose story we will never see in full.

If you have to wait years to see a favorite major character appear in a scene, then - Boom, they have their scene or several scenes, then they are gone for more years RL, there is No immersion and in time, I see other entertainment displacing AWAM because AWAM cannot maintain its entertainment value.

You can disagree or tell us that your standard rewards those small vignettes over other stories that are better told, using equal or better renders and animations, quality music and sound effects along with immersion which I actually value in any entertainment experience.

You have every right to your opinion, and I just chose to share why I disagree versus simply using a thumbs down emote - this post is part of those genuine discussions I spoke of earlier.

AWAM is one of the most complex stories on the market. Don't know about "The most" but definitely in the top 5. Your point on "To be continued" is a byproduct of the complexity, as it's pretty much impossible to develop all the routes at once.

Sophia's routes. Good Wife, Filthy, Lesbian + all the LI's and often branches involving the LI's. Like Aiden's tasks, Morello etc.
Dylan's routes. Boarding school. His unknown "cuck" stat, his own LI's.
Ellie's routes. Her BF, her friends, maybe Sam etc.
Which is my main gripe with this game. L&P has shown he can deliver timely updates with content for all players. He just chooses not to.
^ This, pretty much.

Sure, AWAM has the potential to be complex with all the routes. But with L&P developing 1 PD in 2 years, this potential for complexity is turning into nothingness. There's people out there who aren't getting any content for AGES in their playthroughs due to the slow development. You're basically talking about a product we could have in 30 years, but currently most routes are not progressing at all, or at a pace where complexity is not the right word to describe it, imo. Just a bunch of dead-ends.

So yeah, the potential is there. But like Alley_Cat said, L&P is developing the game in a way where many routes fall completely flat due to the pace at which new updates come out. That, and the ridiculous size for a single scene which results in almost zero progress story-wise.

That, to me, is not real complexity. It's more of a waiting game for something that'll never see the end of it. But yeah, I should have worded it differently. I guess in a way you could say it's too complex even, which is the byproduct you mentioned. It all comes down to the slow development in the end, which is why this potential for complexity is going nowhere. It's an illusion. That's where L&P's statement is making me shake my head as he's simply dishonest with his supporters.

Thank for your devoting comment.
Ill try the "summer gone" (chasing sunsets does have mother son route, hard to relate to awam) first then discuss with you.
Plus, i agree the time management time of LP is terrible, but like i said its the developer's fault, not the game itself. Maybe its just "better takes longer"

Its always be the newbe's defending this developer and it will always be the newbes, until they are not. If you catch the drift.

Hope we get to see that black guy from the sauna again, Sophia and his bbc would be amazing to see.
Same with the janitor.
Agree, just sucks that we're going to have to wade through Ellie's three different branches and Dylan's five or six different threads, and the Morello/no-Morello did Liam bet the house or not, did Sophia do yoga or have coffee with Alyssa, and on and on, to get there.

Imagine, if L&P would learn some more advanced story-telling/writing techniques, everything not in Sophia's first-person experience could be written in without being rendered, and we could keep things moving forward nicely.

I would be more than satisfied with 2+ months between updates if every update was focused on Sophia's experiences.

I don't believe the branches of the Ellie route aren't focused on Sophia's experiences. From what we've seen so far of the setup for the Jules branch, it's Ellie throwing Jules at Sophia, then using the "what about me?" excuse so she can do similar.

Similarly, the Sam branch requires Sophia to be involved with Sam.

So completely different to the Dylan route LIs (Emma, Amber etc) that cut off any involvement with Sophia.

It's hard to find the best game, many have very good moments. But I like when it has experienced men with a certain age like Babysitters, JOHN, Lisa, The Assistant, Bastard..... AWAM of modern times is great but Sam, Dylan, Zac etc are still quite young.
