yeah despite all the grudges we hold against lp, we have to agree upon the fact his game is the best on the market now. Even great games like manofhouse, milfcity, beingadik, desires still cant compare to awam
I don't agree with your supposition on this.
You certainly have a right to your opinion but there are, for me, multiple AVN's that are better than AWAM.
I'll give two brief examples:
Chasing Sunsets - up to rev 0.7 right now and likely to be completed within the next 15 - 21 months (versus 2+ decades for AWAM)
It has great renders, better music, an intriguing story, some fantastic humor
Summers Gone - great story, some of the best music in any AVN, top quality renders and animations.
I like AWAM - don't get me wrong - and I am intrigued by the journey of Sophia as well as the journeys of Ellie and Dylan.
However, L&P is a very inflexible creator who has a great 'product' that he insists on doling out a small dollop of story every 3-4 months.
This is his choice, but for supporters like me, I will eventually give up on any $ support and limit my hopes only to some great discussion on F95.
We will have more and better discussions than the dialogues that will be found in AWAM because we will, in part, have 20+ more years to create those discussions and we are, in many ways, a better team in the way we interact than anything L&P has shown us.
One of my favorite recent scenes was the Dylan Amber scene.
This was a great scene, both well-written and well-rendered.
4+ months later, that is all it is.
There is No immersion
There is no true sense that a story is being told.
There is only the sense of being given a series of vignettes - short scenes about characters that we enjoy, but whose story we will never see in full.
If you have to wait years to see a favorite major character appear in a scene, then - Boom, they have their scene or several scenes, then they are gone for more years RL, there is No immersion and in time, I see other entertainment displacing AWAM because AWAM cannot maintain its entertainment value.
You can disagree or tell us that your standard rewards those small vignettes over other stories that are better told, using equal or better renders and animations, quality music and sound effects along with immersion which I actually value in any entertainment experience.
You have every right to your opinion, and I just chose to share why I disagree versus simply using a thumbs down emote - this post is part of those genuine discussions I spoke of earlier.
