I agree, the dev could have made the "good wife" path more interesting. i mean, if the story is that the couple are tired of each other, 2 kids and the sex is stagnant, why have the good wife path at all? there most be a purpose to have it? The dev could introduce more dirty talk, they talk about spice it up, try new kinks, explore sharing/swingers or whatever.
