This is one of the reasons that I will never support such a game.According to the current progress information, we are currently at well below 20% total work done... after over one month. Extrapolated, this means at least 4 more months to reach 100%. That would mean the a new update would appear in May or June. At this speed, a total of 2 updates will be released within the year 2020. Kind of a joke if you ask me but hopefully he will prove me/us wrong.
Let's suppose that I support with 15 Dollars, 4 months would give 60 Dollars, and 60 Dollars in my country is quite a thing.
And then you pay 60 dollars to just read text, (sex doesn't have, animation doesn't have) it would be more profitable to buy a good book.
This is a game to download from sites like this, it is not worth investing money in, it takes a century to get an update, when it comes out, it shows a chest or vagina, when it shows something.
It will probably be a good game when it is finished, my only fear is that if I am still alive when it is finished, I am already 44 years old, I do not know if it will be ready before my retirement.

I respect your opinion, although I disagree with it, I know that the money is not to download the game.
There are great developers who deliver something with each update (something usable)
and there are others who like and practice milking their supporters, which seems to be the case with this one (I'm not saying)
But think about it, if I can make money without delivering almost anything, why am I going to deliver?

I understand your point, BUT what makes this game special ( and worthy to pay the 60 dollars = cup of coffee for 10 days) is that it has a realistic approach. If this game had ridiculous sex scenes from the first minute (like other games ) I wouldn't have paid for it. We pay to support a genius guy to continue a very unique work. Hundreds (may be thousands )of people are fans of this game because it's a very slowly building story and because of the very high quality of rendering and the above all it stimulate the fantasies in a very creative way.
I am 44 (also)and I had spent a lot of money for many bullshit in my life, but supporting this work is something I will koto regret because L&P is making new passion on my life !
Probably as much as was abandoned in spite of having respect, popularity and money (Teachers Pets, High Life, Dual Family, etc.). Some of them really milked supporters to the bone, so everybody should be carefully with money, that is good rule in general.
There is no rule which games will be abandoned. Developers who are in it only for the quick buck will never produce quality work anyway. Most people can make more money by doing regular programming job. It is good that garbage is filtered as soon as possible, there is enough of it anyway on this site.
If the game is indeed good it will get support in due time.
