No, her intent was to draw the line right then and there. She even had an inner monologue back at her own house where she felt it was wrong, regretting everything. Which, by the way, is what Sophia always does. Makes it even less believable. That's part of what I explained.
didn,t anyone say that sophia,s parentswere pretty much coming to an end. now she tells sam that her parents are coming on tuesday. that would be game day17.

Really curious how L&P will achieve this in a somewhat believable way. Dylan has to make a massive leap to catch up / surpass Sam's recent event, or even the event prior to that (Jacuzzi). Not like Sophia is really making any sense at this point, but oh well. The event in Sam's room was so...weird. Ignoring everything else, this event was decent. Animations solid. But storywise? I really don't get it.

Before visiting Sam's, Sophia's intention was to draw a line. She felt guilty, regretting everything that had happened between them, thought Sam and her crossed a line which had to stop. She went over to Sam's and talked to him, told him it's wrong and all that....

Sophia: Hey Sam, this has to stop. I'm a married woman and I love my husband very much! What happened is wrong!
Sam: Ok. ....Hey, wanna be my secret girlfriend?
Sophia: Sure, why not!

*titty sucking intensifies*

Sorry, but that's just stupid. Even some of the more diehard fans thought it was dumb, which really did surprise me to be honest. I wonder if we are going to see the same nonsense with Dylan? Or worse? Again, I'm just talking about the story here. The event itself wasn't halfbad. Guess we'll see.
If you take all the events Sophia/Dylan had, there was no build-up to the evening event yet. She realized she had some attraction towards Dylan during the jogging event PD 12, which led to the fabric butt touch, but then it ended with Nathalie's event, which is a day in a half in PD terms from their evening event. So, where everyone had a somewhat gradual build-up, Dylan will accomplish this in one evening event... and he thinks this is "realistic."

Honestly, I don't see how he can transition out of the SEX-ED period or in the manner he layout in the novel. I can only come up with some ways that will probably be very bad.
  • Alcohol is way out of it, and she will get very drunk; it's been used in other events like the club with Ellie and Patricia, watching a Football match with Liam and Neil, and Sophia/Sam events.
  • Flipping the Switch like in the second side job. It just happens that's it
  • They possibly encounter a group of the same Hobos this time that all have drinking, and they want to plot their revenge, and Dylan comes out victorious with his three to four days of ninja training. Karate Kid Part II damsel in distress.
Those are a couple of corny thoughts I can see him using.

But one thing is for sure; he does have ctrl C&V on lockdown when rehashing themes used in other parts of the story. Nothing is unique for each LI route. I told him before that "SEX-ED" is always tricky to transition out of when telling this story with the forbidden incest. Still, he thinks it's "realistic." when I follow up with the counterargument about Ellie, It shuts him down, or he tries to change the definition of incest to fit his narrative.

The two-step forward, one step back thought. It's pretty much in all her scenes.

I mean sure, we can agree to disagree. Thing is, what I said is literally in the scene's dialogue. Sophia herself is saying these things. Her thoughts, her intents. There wasn't the slightest hint of a horny woman. Not sure how you can disagree with something that's written by the developer himself unless you interpret the scenes by your own liking, ignoring previous story and dialogue. Remember that Sophia was angry at Sam after the Jacuzzi event for what he did?

Anyway, like you said we have different opinions and that's totally fine. :)

The different opinions are absolutely healthy in the discussion I think. Sophia's brain says STOP but her body says YES that is her dilemma. I think AWAM fans like it. We don't want to see just spread legs and fuck.

Sophia got hot and bothered when she decided to be Sam's secret girlfriend. But she didn't intend to do anything when she first went over, even though all of us knew something would.

This is a consistent thing throughout the game. She gets talked into doing things (in this case, be a secret GF) and tries to rationalize it (in this case, just innocent fun). Then she has a back-and-forth inner monologue but in the end she does it anyways. Almost every event that turns sexual is this way. LP, if nothing else, is consistent in how Sophia ends up doing stuff even if it doesn't make a lot of sense sometimes.

How Dylan gets caught up to Sam, I don't know. Every event in part 2 has been sexual and the game is leaning into more porn logic, so it's possible. But however it happens, it'll probably follow the same pattern detailed above.

Does make me curious what will happen when it stops being "innocent fun". While this most recent event definitely falls within Patricia's rule of "no dick in pussy", like others have already said it definitely is cheating.

It would probably take some smoothing over by either Carl or Patricia if Liam were to ever find out.

How proud your parents must be. I got the update I wanted, and the autists are moving in, so this is where I bid this thread farewell. Take care, all.
No need to be that extremist just because one person reported you. I have been reported constantly and getting a lot of my comments deleted, even banned weeks from the thread, just for posting inoffensive memes. You put a huge signature, but you were not aware of how that works, it's not your fault. You can still put the same images in a gif, just take into account that it must be a format of 300x125 px or 450x125 px.

There's still another very active thread of AWAM, with less or none moderation . https://f95zone.to/threads/a-wife-and-mother-offtopic-discussion.111628

That dialogue from that party was so stupidly written for idiots. "Sophia I have a husband and I love him -Sam, you will be my secret girlfriend. Sophia doesn't wonder what that means, yes, I'll stay. where is the logic here?

I really don't understand some of you, before this scene some people were complaining that there was no sex scenes and when this event happens they lash out and say it's unrealistic, even though it's considered just as a foreplay. Imagine Sophia who was always hot for rock band boys, meeting Sam a young handsome boy who is nice and artistic in every aspect art, music and has the knowledge that even she doesn't have about it. Sophia is attracted by all those things + her sex life with Liam isn't fun anymore or even non existent at the moment. How can she refuse Sam he's certainly her soulmate. If you're bothered by how fast this route goes, you might never enjoy the next scenes LP has planned in the future.

The Sam route may also appear fast in that there aren't the same number of events as there are for the Dylan and Ellie routes. In the Ellie route Sophia told Jules that them kissing was a once-off and can't happen again. But there's another Ellie event with Sophia coming up on PD14 (and another small one) where Ellie can push Sophia into possibly trying it again. Especially with the "intimate shaving" lesson coming up, possibly with an accompanying discussion about oral.

But Ellie has about twice as many events as Sam, so can afford to take it slow.

On my daily commute drive home, the entire way until I reach my neighborhood is a single lane road with a 45mph speed limit. Yet, every day, there's some doofus that can't do better than 30-35mph. Without fail.

The very rare times that I don't find myself with anyone in front of me, at least for certain stretches, and I can do the actual speed limit, I feel like I'm just flying, simply because I'm so used to going so damn slow.

So, perhaps it's a bit of this. Game's been dragging on for a looooong time, super duper slow burn, and then when it finally looks like something might happen, to some it feels like suddenly it's moving to fast.

Yes, that's a way to see things but it's not always about the number of scenes. Sometimes it's about the quality of the time the two share with each other and in all honesty Sam has made the biggest progress in making Sophia happy, she feels free around him because the two share the same hobbies.

That's a good example man, and yes it might be that way but if they expect the game to always be that way that's on them. It's just frustrating to see when people months back were complaining about the pace and now say it's too fast. Even in tv shows, the pace is sometimes slow but suddenly something out of nowhere happens that changes the entire show

It's funny you should say that because this event was supposed to be a small event/scene with one animation. He turned it into a large event and two animations to cover the details you described and added a cliffhanger at the end that will filter into update 6. So if he left it a small event, would Sam have made the leaps he made in this event/scene, and would it have been less convincing?

Did you read his outline of how the story should be told as he explained it? He uses realistic and time-lapse words to jump ahead in time to feel like more time has passed to give it a sense of realism. That's what people are referencing when they say things like the scene jump too quickly.
