First of all - I agree with you!
The initial situation/initial conditions do not actually allow anything sexual to be possible in the presence or even with the involvement of Logan and Tyler. This is especially true if Sophia spent the night before with Dylan and is full of regret.
But considering the third and fourth teasers, which show what L&P described as "a playful Sophia", it seems to me that the only difference in this upcoming update will be at what point Sophia accepts her "inner whore".
Immediately after getting up or later when she is/was at the spa with Ellie.
This is the only way to even explain any progress or interactions with the two men at this point.
If L&P chooses this route to explain Sophia then the story becomes even stranger when L&P then has Sophia have a "serious" conversation with Dylan about the events of the previous day. Because this conversation will come and if L&P actually lets Sophia act as suggested in the text above, it will be contradictory and hilarious and will make any form of "believable" ridiculous.
One should also take into account an early statement from L&P. When Aiden's blackmail of Sophia began and Dylan was the perpetrator of this blackmail, and it was hotly debated, L&P once said that at some point it will no longer matter that it is blackmail and who is to blame. If you take this statement into account then you can understand that this weekend should lead to a profound change in behavior for Sophai.
At least that's how L&P could imagine it.
So far we only know individual images of the upcoming update. And of course everyone here tries to give an interpretation to these images and, based on past events, together with their own ideas and wishes, to predict how the update will develop. I also don't want to judge L&P too harshly at this point until the new update has been released. But at the moment I see that we're going to get something very erotic and sexual, but in terms of the story it could be a catastrophe.
But maybe L&P has an idea up its sleeve and will surprise me.

Sophia’s level of remorse depends on last night’s events. The only thing that might change is a few renders with different face expressions. Clothing could be the same regardless if she’s filthy or not. Sophia is reflecting PD13 starting with Aiden. She might be pissed but also a little aroused… At the Sam event she was actively involved and she liked it all in all. So remembering it will make her feel horny. During Dylan’s events she was passive since Dylan was begging for her attention… The level of initial remorse depends how far did she go with Dylan. I have a crazy scenario that while she is initially regretting what happened with Dylan last night, this might turn into hornyness. Hence the flirty mood when the door bell rings. When she realised that Sam is at the door she felt like teasing him… At this stage teasing Sam is the norm. Moving on they might share a kiss and some groping to increase Sophia’s hornyness… Once Sam leaves the Parker’s house she goes back to take a shower. There she finds her daughter’s lingerie and smells them. “Ellie was naughty last night” she thinks. At the current release we will see only the scenario where Ellie forgave Logan meaning she got naughty thinking of him. Maybe they exchanged some messages and arranged today’s meeting. To have a similar outcome both Sophia/Ellie morning events I would expect them to put up some lesbian show with kissing and touching for the boys in the end. The heterosexual part of the event might be relatively short. Just to increase the girls level of arousal… Maybe some heavy fingering.
In a crazy scenario they might end up blowing the boys and making them cum on their chest…

In my two recent posts I've split potential events into two camps: those that are consistent with previous elements of the story and the characters up to this point, and then those that throw all that stuff out the window so he can up the naughtiness without regard to the characters and events he's presented to us thus far.I would really be more careful about ruling out certain story developments that are absolutely achievable. This may only lead you to be disappointed by an update if one of the versions you have excluded does happen.

One more thing, if you expect too much reality from a porn game, you are bound to be disappointed. The aim of such a game is that there is action in the end. Even if this update is not yet that far, there will certainly be an update in the future with these four do way more than just talking.
I'm predicting a whiplash inducing Tokyo Drift style change of direction rather than a three-point turn. I'm not expecting reality - nothing like it - just asking for consistency and logical progression.

I been sitting in the background reading all the posts and ignoring the usual complaints. Just trying to figure out where the story is going. And I am none the wiser as to knowing where we all are in the story.
OK, I was up to date with the slumber party. (that was a long wait!).
I thought Patricia and Sophia would have their big museum date with the two college boys as the main part of the next release. And there was some talk about that. Then there was talk of the sisters going to the ranch. And now Ellie/Sophia hookup with Logan and Tyler.
Is there anyone in the know where the story is...and maybe the next step in the story after that. Perhaps a timeline would help.

We are at the beginning of PD14. The museum event is scheduled towards the end of PD14 (in 2-3 years). The ranch event stretches over multiple updates on PD15.
The next update is gonna be release 1 out of ~10 (didn't check for the amount of expected updates for this PD). It's basically Sophia waking up the next day, some minor stuff at home and an event involving Sophia+Ellie with Logan+Tyler in the Spa.
This first release will have two versions (one released at a time), meaning L&P will likely spent 7-8 months alltogether for the first two updates of PD14.... after that come a bunch more updates with whatever content before the museum date you've mentioned in 2-3 years at current pace, give or take.
