Well, maybe this example was crappy indeed. But it's still an adult game with strongly adult content. Those who watched anime would be quite surprised how Saber gained mana during Berserker arc. That's pretty important part of a whole plot. But aside of that there are games strictly aimed for romance like Shuffle which are famous even tho they are categorized as a porn here. Game which is focused around sexuality doesn't have to be porn. I think it's just western mentality can't comprehend this idea. I wouldn't mind some more text focues games on this site and this one is a decent start

And again, that's the problem. It seems like a lot of people here don't see this as one of those romance VNs where you spend hours upon hours reading mind-numbing text(just personal experience) and then finally get your scene at the end of whichever girl's route you chose. They just wanna get straight to the banging. Which I get. I personally don't really care about the story of this game either. I'm in it just to see the hot mom get boned. But I understand it's gonna take a while to get to that. I can wait. And hopefully all the complainers will realize this too and either wait with me or just go find other games.

Well, maybe you could add some sex scenes as a day dream fantasy. It could be realistic step for MC to first fantasies about sex with own or neighbour's son or whoever else than just to jump into bed with them out of nowhere. It can provide sex content early in game and yet preserve realism.
I mean so far it doesn't look like it's going the dual family route, but again you see the same complainers. On top of all this I would seriously consider prepping for a Patreon review if it keeps getting popular. It only takes one asshole to report the game and depending on the reviewer it just needs a nice page edit, a full blown rework, or it just gets banned. I'm interested enough to pledge, but these are things to consider until you can move to an alternative platform.

That's pretty important thing for a whole universe that mages typically use semen as a mana resource. But sure it's not so important in this specific game. I hate that they removed that from anime as I love being true to the original but I guess it was understandable.
Ofc I'm also after hot wife. But there is a distinction between porn and adult games. Even School Days isn't classified as porn and this game is much stronger than most clearly porn game we have. But this distinction isn't clear I guess for many so I hope for more quality (finished) games to push our market a bit into similiar adult but not necessary porn direction.

Actually, considering the amount of agency that the dev is giving his female MC, I'd say that the "problem" of the Good Wife path seeming unrewarding can be solved by giving Sophie the option to actively try to win her husband back. There are many creative, sexual situations that can arise from such a pursuit. (Suggest a threesome, find some sexually devious way to cut out the competition, etc.) She doesn't always have to play the martyr... though that would make a lesbian path verging into the good wife route quite steamy if that route was chosen.

Yes, there is a distinction. And it does seem like a lot of people don't get it. It is what it is, I guess.
I doubt more games like this will make them realize that distinction though. People who just want porn will always complain about there not being enough porn. I would know. All that porn out there and I still don't think it's enough. XD
Personally I'd rather the market stick with more porn focused stuff, with the occasional ''adult'' game like this popping up. Though in a perfect world I suppose we'd have equal amounts of both. If only. :FeelsBadMan:

I mean for those upset by the changes you could always, I don't know, maybe pay to support the game like some people here. This site is good for feedback, but the dev clearly is in it for the money like others. So if his supporters really want to cut the build up and get to some fucking he's probably going to give in. Besides time skips are plot devices. Usually to skip some build up like you see here. There's nothing stopping him from doing flash backs to see why x event happened. If you want a say in a development of one of these games you're gonna have to pay or else you're just getting a product that someone is giving to you for free.
To contrast some of the opinions above about getting sex scenes into the game faster, I'll say that I have not seen an implementation of "dream" scenes in a game that I thought was even remotely appealing. They usually feel like a fast track to appease people who want to get their jollies off without letting a story build.
I personally think your pacing provides an exceptional alternative to much of the content we'll find. And I would not want to see this game forfeit its approach or direction to provide a poorly timed implementation that would derail the overall appeal.
My only criticism/concern at this time is how big a factor the relationship points will play out. I'm not trying to be critical, but I'm wondering if they will only be a means to an image, or if they will truly take the MC's interactions down vastly different paths.
In either event, this update was worth the wait. Thanks

Come on, guys. Have a little faith. Doesn't seem like he's changing anything too much. He's just cutting down on some of the more ''irrelevant'' stuff. Like the amount of renders for certain scenes. Which I think is smart. The quality of this game is amazing, but it's very ambitious. Especially for a first game. At least I think this is his first game. The amount of work he puts into this is something I'd expect from a dev who already has a few games under his belt and has a dedicated fanbase who are with him through thick and think. That way you don't have to worry about shit like people complaining about how long it takes and such. 'Cause you already have that core audience who knows what to expect from you.
He says the quality will remain the same. And the slow ''realistic'' approach to the story and sex will stay the same too. So no reason to be disappointed just yet. Let's wait and see. Maybe it will suck. Or maybe he'll actually manage to please both sides. Fingers crossed.

The thing is that for many people (like me) the irrelevant stuff is very relevant and what separates it from (in my opinion) boring "smut" games like "Lilly of the valley" and such that can be very unsexy for some because everybody acts like a retarded pervert all the time. I understand some people are looking for just that and that's fine but for others the "foreplay"" is very important in adult games. That is one of the reasons games like "Princess Evangile" that have 15+ hours of non-pornographic material before the sex happens are still very popular in Japan and the west. The same goes for the games of Palmer where there is a lot of foreplay (he has over 3000 patrons so he must be doing something right even if the games are not only porn). Now nobody expects this game to have as much foreplay as princess evangile does but if the dev will skip on it significantly that will be a big blow for somebody like me. Foreplay is not irrelevant for everybody you know.
For some of us it feels the same like it might feel for you if Hrein would say they would reduce the amount of renders, scenes and dialogues for "rape and girls with abs related content" in kingdom of deception
