The thing I'm finding the most curious is the complete secrecy about this event. There hasn't even been anything in game that said Ellie was going to invite Julia over. When was the last time an event was this secret?

With the exception of Sophia events with Ellie and/or Patricia, the Good Wife and Lesbian route are completely compatible.

Is the "Try to be understanding about the conversation" dialogue option with the son broken for anyone else? It just goes to the other dialogue option as though I didn't click it. I downloaded this a while ago and just got around to playing it, has it been patched since?
To cut out the obvious answer, I do meet the minimum relationship requirement as noted in the dialogue option and there is no "[you do not meet the required relationship level]" dialogue after choosing the option that has it, it just goes straight into the other option's dialogue as though I had picked that instead.

That really depends on which route you're on. I'm more disappointed Alyssa moved to the blackmail route, which ended her storyline for me before this update anyway.

I agree it's great to have an erotic novel with deep plots and development. Also, I don't think you would have to worry about that, the lesbian stuff is avoidable depending on player's choice so you can keep the realism in your game experience.

Like if they just get a bit closer and more accepting of one another that they might also be accepting of each others relationships with Sophia and this might lead to sexy fun time?

Because honestly, nothing warms my heart and my loins more than seeing two not-so-close siblings release all that tension by fucking each other senseless, and Ellie and Dylan could really benefit from something like that.

Occasionally my investigations end up possibly backing up people's speculations, instead of always shooting them down. While I was checking up on the number of Ellie branches (did no-one get the Monty Python reference?), I intially didn't make the connection. But the Ellie branches start on Playable day 16. The same day the bonus storyline is meant to culminate. So it seems entirely possible that one of the branches is a result of the bonus storyline. Not one I will end up playing, but that just leaves me one of the other two.

How would Sophia switching sides lose realism? This story has still got quite a ways to go and it's still very possible that events could transpire that make Sophia fall out of love with her husband on the Lesbian path.

I recognised the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch reference, but there wasn't much else in that post I felt I wanted to respond to so I just left it.
