Yes, we can look at this in different ways and from different angles, so I said that the chosen L&P time period for its first project may be acceptable despite some discrepancies.

Cool. I was getting 164, since I was using 365/12 as the number of days per month. Not that it matters much, the point is still the same.

He's more "troll like" and he's been doing this for quite a while. "Uneducated? Probably!
So now he needs half a year for half update... this dev is really testing his supporters patience. And who can even believe that he will be willing and capable to grind this stuff for 10 or so more years... it is very far fetched...

Whenever I see this I have to think of the announcement from the developer, years ago. He once reduced the content to 0.5 per update under the promise of delivering shorter, but more regular updates. In the meantime we have reached 0.125 per update. But the updates are still taking as long as they were at the beginning. At the moment there is only 1 update per year, if we are lucky.
This means, there actually never was an acceleration, but an slowdown in development. I wonder what do his patreos actually say about it?

as long as he earns, I don't see where the problem is. if I were him, I'd do the same thing.
L&P has no interest in finishing the game, prolonging it means having more money.
They are great movies, whatever the title. I think the whole Parker clan probably watched them. Dylan probably saw them more than once!

Yes L&P takes time and annoys everyone. I, too, am no different. The slowness of the updates is difficult to understand if we limit ourselves to counting the events that will happen.
And I am not talking about the characters who will be present, the debate is still and still topical.
But the same people who speak of an author only interested in money will also be those who will praise the quality of his work after an update. And who at the same time will have timed their derisory playing time with the "skip" button and will make a graph to show the imbalance. And which after a few months will come back with the same leitmotif.
Let L&P do what it has to do ... Or stop playing.

It's not that all the criticism concerns money. (I'll never criticise on this topic because I'm a pirate). Money is essential for the truly successful developers & there are few who would begrudge anyone a decent reward for work well done. (Except for some well-known employers who don't seem to be here). One of the issues that's come to the fore because of the slow pace is the possibility of AWAM coming to a premature end. Perhaps these worries have been exaggerated, partly because of the time between updates but this is a genuine possibilty at some point in the future.Why is it all about money?

Having played several games that were abandoned, I recognise the signs but hope that it's just so much pointless speculation of the kind we usually enjoy, though not when it comes to this subject. So, although it's a fact that, in life, anything can end anytime, there's a creeping feeling that something needs to change.

He is the master of his game; the threat does not usually make things happen. It will make someone angry, but if not acted upon, it remains sterile and childish.
