I have stopped trying to make sense of it and just subscribe to GingerSweetGirl s presentation that it never should have been done. I find that easier for my pea brain.View attachment 1554066

All the unimportant details aside, can anyone make any sense out of this hot mess?
In his first statement, L&P said that we'll be seeing results IN the next update and he'll keep us informed, providing answers once he reaches a certain point in the update's development (whatever that's supposed to mean). This also apparently involves multiple other developers as it appears to be a task made for "them", yet this statement makes it sound like he himself is working on "something special".
In his second statement, everything previously mentioned is pretty much over board and we're basically left with a simple "more information AFTER the next update", which already is contradicting with his first statement, and it looks like we're not even getting a taste for this "special" something in the upcoming release, unlike what he had previously said.
In his third statement, things become even more confusing. It apparently impacts the upcoming release, but we'll only be getting information about it AFTER the update??? So from my point of view, all we currently have is L&P's word that it's gonna be well worth it, and a bunch of contradictions that make absolutely no sense if you ask me.
check on pornhub et al. Maybe someone made a vid.İs there any play video link of last update? İ
I agree and earlier stated that I think/hope this may be for an associate that will then work with him. The second PC would enable him to maintain absolute control of his assets. All the hypothesis you make seem plausible to me, I'd add that maybe he might have found a writer with animation/modelling skills too that will help on that too (to explain the PC).
The other part that also need some work is the update system, it can require some programming work to deal with connections, checksum and so on to have a smooth updating system (provided that there are not already off-the-shelf solutions). Not something so exciting to justify the waiting but it is nevertheless a part that needs to be done. But for sure nobody needs a rig like that to do this task.
In the case he hired someone (whatever the job is), buying a new PC is another "strange" choice: is she/he working physically together with him? That would mean he found someone in his city or not so far from his place that can easily commute, I don't think that someone will move from another region/country/continent for this kind of project. Minor detail, but let's not to forget this little covid problem with possible new lockdown/restrictions ahead that may prevent displacements.
Or maybe he is assembling the pc to be an exact replica of his and then ship it to her/him?
We know that he is obsessively secretive about his assets, the story and the way he works. Having someone physically working with him might reassure him, even if that does not prevent possible leaks etc.
The other (crazy) possibility is that he will force the new hire to work remotely on his new machine, so that everything stays under his control in terms of security. Needless to say, it won't be the case, because files can be "extracted" anyway and he will be more distracted controlling what's happening than working on his part of the project. And, no matter how good the internet connection is, it would be a nightmare for the other dev working like that.
He can use the second rig for the other dev to render his work remotely, because e.g. the other dev has no enough computing power in his hands. It can be the case, as the fan art thread shows, many good artists with great skills but limited by their available resources. That requires him to trust her/him with the assets, though.
Finally, I don't think that having two PCs for himself will improve anything in his workflow, this has been discussed ad nauseam in this forum.
I'm very certain it's not a DLC. He it is something special and something we will see for ourselves from next update onwards. DLC does not add up here. Plus the first storyline that actually is going to be DLC would have started later in on in the day ( coach Sophia ).Now that's an interesting idea, maybe it's the DLC or a sidestory. I'm not sure if a second computer would be necessary for that, but i would definitely be a huge announcement.
I'm just not sure how that would work practically. If it's DLC, that would just complicate things since the game is still under development. It wouldn't so much be DLC as it would just additional material. It could also be confusion since continuity could get weird. I don't know, I'd have to hear more.
A side story would be catastrophic for the future of AWAM. We don't need any more distractions from the main game. Side stories would completely undermine the switch to event-based releases. There would be competing content. If anything I would see this as L&P testing the waters for moving on to a new project if/when he loses interest in AWAM.
I still think it's something directly related to development.
He is taking notes from Jen Psaki! He will circle back to it.It's like he's been watching youtube clips on effective corporate spin - how to promise the future and never deliver.
The animation takes place in an environment, it starts and ends, but the pre-animation render and the post-animation render are created by L&P.Animations too seem to a bit doubtful since if he has an artist who can make animations at the same quality as L&P's renders, why not ask him to make renders itself. If he is that talented he could easily start working on the next update events.
He should establish a good pace first and then think about animations.
But then offering an entire high end setup to such person makes no sense. If this guy is a specialist he must have had his own gear. There is no story to tell in animations. He could have just sent instructions along with what you mentioned and he would do the animations and send them to L&P. Plus I don't understand why he would even create so much hype around animations. I mean it's there in almost every game. It must be something else. The animation takes place in an environment, it starts and ends, but the pre-animation render and the post-animation render are created by L&P.
What I mean by that: that all the settings are created by L&P and someone else creates the movement in the environment already created by L&P.
creating the movement is very easy, there are ready-made animation sets, just set them up and start the renderThe animation takes place in an environment, it starts and ends, but the pre-animation render and the post-animation render are created by L&P.

Agreed, but L&P didn't talk about animation. And until he introduces sex scenes, there's not much need. But then offering an entire high end setup to such person makes no sense. Personally I'm no fan of animations so I couldn't care less for them.
he could ask the animator to revise all the game produced so far and add animations to the past story?Agreed, but L&P didn't talk about animation. And until he introduces sex scenes, there's not much need.
That would be boring as hell.A separate game about Dylan's adventures![]()
If he's gonna fuck Sam's mom, no.That would be boring as hell.
I used to use chatroulette + manycam onceI discovered that in chaturbate there is a channel that broadcasts 3D animation.
The animation isn't great, the characters poor quality.I used to use chatroulette + manycam once
very funny
