On the subject of women retaining their looks up to, and post 40 (only 10 years away from "invisibility" we have just been told!). Is anyone out there who think Sophia's hair needs a dramatic makeover? I realise this is highly sensitive and has probably been discussed before but I'm unaware of conclusions. It's also something I know L&P is particularly protective about, the perfectionist he is.
I'm going to be critical. My belief is Sophia's current just-below-shoulder length, layered, highlighted look is not only passe', but doesn't do her justice, highlight her neck sufficiently, appears an almost cliche' hairstyle chosen by women her age who's looks are already beginning to fade. Reminiscent of women who smoke too many cigarettes accompanied by a croaky voice.
Rarely does she wear it up, plait, or even pony-tail it, except when running, so IMO a shorter, more sophisticated, straighter look would do wonders.
She is, of course very welcome to consult my own hair-stylist on application. But has she even the time?
