It's a game to you and me, but in his eyes, he is writing it as it is realistic. That's the part that many people miss. The country that San Alejo is in is the US. He will undoubtedly write in a way that makes the game progress, but again he's writing it in "realistic" terms. That's why I said in a post a couple of months ago that it doesn't matter how we view the game. It's how the author writes it in which he uses the term realistic.
I disagree with San Alejo being in the US. For one, the boss came over to watch a RUGBY game. At night. I have found in 24 years living in the US an extremely small number of people in the USA that even know what Rugby is let alone will watch it. Go All Blacks 2023.

This shows an issue LP has. Wasting time & not being efficient. If they weren't actually going to a restaurant, there is no reason to spend the time making the restaurant environment or the corresponding renders. Just skip straight to the club.

As for what will happen. A club is an easy way to get some lewdness involved. Sophia is probably going to drink and on the ride home, Dylan will feel her up or something. We'll probably get a dancing animation too.

Oohhh that'd be nice for Liam to find them the next morning in Dylan's room asleep half naked and in a cuddling "honeymoon hug" position.
Absolutely!
I really want, and need, to see that minimal "logical" path... Liam can't ignore, indefinitely, what his wife is doing with their own child!!
That route of the game can abruptly interrupt the previous one, of course, but at the same time add a bit of drama and quite "spicy" to the story. Maybe why not? The expulsion of Sophia from her home... which would absolutely open up the interconnection, now by necessity, with other very interesting routes (Aiden, Neil, no longer Sam, since he is a friend of Dylan's... even an awkward momentary life in home of a friendly married couple, with the consequent temptations that having Sophia in that house will imply... and the list is endless). But the ball is in Liam's feet. Neither Sophia nor Dylan can be in control, really, it all depends on the value of Liam.

the club is a last minute decision, just because the restaurants are closed. L&P has to draw Dylan as a good guy; Sophia would become suspicious if she is taken straight to the clu, this is because the game is realistic

After the restaurants have all closed, Dylan suggests a well-known nightclub nearby.

Let's get the party started...

So nightclub it is. Keeping aside the age issue for just a moment, which already made us discard this hypothesis, here is another thought.

**What if** it is, once again, another red herring? Some of you have already commented on the fact that, from a technical point of view, it's a very challenging scene to make because of the number of characters and so on. I had a similar reaction seeing the teaser as in "Oh, that's why the progress was so slow..." It almost immediately reminded me of Sam's concert, which had the same kind of challenges at the time, but ended up being a fairly minor part of Sam's event (in terms of "action").

So I wouldn't be surprised if the "main action" doesn't take place here, but later, e.g. once at home again. This nightclub scene could maybe serve to "prepare" for the main event, either by loosening up Sophia and/or playing again with the nostalgia for the younger years, or by making again Dylan the hero that saves her from some molesters, or simply by making them even closer with the dancing. And, of course, the whole nightclub thing, **could** be "just" another chance for L&P for experimenting with large scenes, complex lighting and pushing the limits of his hardware. It would not be so (completely) out of character for him IMO.

I totally agree. It's just about being efficient as you say. You can actually make Sopha and Dylan talking about where are they going and just realicing that it's too late to going to dinner and making them taking the decission to go to a club in the car or even before.

But, he spends 5-10-15-20 or more renders (some days of work at L&P's speed) about they walking, the restaurant, an all the stuff until they take the decission to go to a club. Pointless under my point of view.

Whether the wedding ring stays on her finger is another matter
Sophia also wears her wedding ring during the jogging event. There she even claims that Dylan is her boyfriend and L&P doesn't let Sophia waste a thought that her wedding ring is clearly visible on her finger.
The ring should not play a role here in the nightclub/disco.
Although for me it would be an even bigger corruption step if Sophia would take the ring off temporarily than if she kisses Dylan in public.

So hopefully the teasers are being staggered out and not indicative of where the progress is actually. 50% and just getting to the club? Either that or they made out somewhere along the way.
In the last update, he released teasers sequentially like a "progress report" and the game content was the same.

If this is also the case this time, our expectations should not be too high.
We will only see something, if Sophia forgot her panties at home.

Somehow I think that Dylan happened to choose just the right thing for this evening, that it is a stroke of luck for him that the restaurant was already closed.
Feel young again, have fun, dance, laugh, celebrate. I think that most people here can understand this. None of this is offensive or reprehensible. Sophia can relax.
Since L&P has already said that Dylan will not be using his martial arts skills at this event, the visit to the dance club will primarily serve to break down Sophia's inhibitions. Of course also with a little alcohol. But actually I hope for little alcohol, because it dilutes the corruption and the next day then also provides an excuse for the "derailment".
But there will certainly be offers / requests from visitors to the dance club to dance with Sophia. It will then be Sophia's decision to choose Dylan or not.
I am still of the opinion that it takes more than a little fun dancing and alcohol (when Sophia is not totally drunk) for Dylan to reach at least the same level as Sam.
Of course you can imagine a scenario like - Sophia and Dylan come home, totally sweaty from dancing and end up together under a shower - problem solved. Except that Dylan has to beg for this opportunity again, and I've had enough of that. Also L&P said "A woman wants to be conquered". Begging does not belong to it for me!

So will we have a rehash of Ellie/Patricia/Tyler/Bennett events all rolled into one?
She gives Dylan the panties that she is wearing as a mento of the night :ROFLMAO:
And maybe Logan and his frat boys are there too hitting on her and making jokes about Dylan being a minor like when they picked on him at the diner with Ellie like “I’d kick your ass but that would be child abuse”

What they watch is a football game, and football is an American culture.
