Just played this game and it was very good. then realised its been 4 years still very little progression

I have saves for literally every scenario. I want to see every scene that is possible. I have lost hope on this game actually being completed and just long for the high of being able to play a 1/3 of a day for 30 mins before waiting 6 months for my next fix

So I’ve been thinking about the upcoming episode with Nathalie: how far are they going to go? I think we’re all ready for a demonstration of cunning linguistics but also know full well that ain’t going to happen. Will it go as far as Julia by the pool? If so great, and that would represent progress on that particular storyline, but it would not be a step forward overall, simply bringing one relationship on par with another. With the crazy progression of the second side job one has reason to hope for a similar amount of lewdidity, I suppose…

I have a feeling that the teasers we've already seen are going to be the highlights of this upcoming event. I could imagine there being a bit of flirting between the two, but nothing too crazy. Somewhat more revealing on Nathalie's part as seen in one of the teasers like the upskirt in the living room, and probably an actual conversation compared to the first time she's cleaned with Sophia peeking at her. Would be nice if it'd go a bit further than that, but I don't really see that happening yet.

There almost has to be major progress with Nat, otherwise what's the point? The second side job has recontextualized everything, there's no excuse for the lack of progression with major side characters now. If Sophia jerks off her students then lewd behavior with all side characters needs to be on the menu. If there's no action with Natalie aside from fabric touching then it's a waste of time and it's just further proof that L&P favors the second side job inordinately.

Yes, it's exactly that: Among other things, she's let a teenage Julia have at her nipples and do some ice play while french kissing. She's manhandled pubescent pepes after knowing them for a total of about four hours, she's talked her daughter through to orgasm, and she rode Alyssa's sybian - someone she's known for about two and a half weeks at that point in the story? (I'm not female and don't know too much about sharing sex toys, but pretty comfortable in my assumption that ladies don't generally share on a casual basis, right?) So yeah, there has to be something more than, well, more than what we've already seen, anyway. Surely.

It's especially important that Natalie makes progress because we aren't going to see her for a while after this. If we go another year before we see her again (if not longer) and she doesn't make any progress with Sophia in this update, then she should just be dropped. In my opinion, anything other than an actual makeout between Sophia and Natalie will be insufficient.
LOL, are you asking me if there's a girl-code for sex toys? As far as I know, we don't share haha at least I never have. So yes, you're right, for Sophia to ride Alyssa's sybian that's a major step and is further proof that Nat needs to make huge progress.

Ha! Sorry, no I didn't mean it like that - I wasn't asking for your personal take - but thanks for providing the anecdotal support for my assumption.
Next question: Does L&P recognize that using someone else's sex toy is a pretty frigging severe departure from the straight and narrow? At this point all pretense of Sophia being uptight or having second thoughts about any sexcapades will ring pretty hollow.
[edit] I guess I'm really asking rhetorically, since we know L&P absolutely does understand just how far beyond conservative/repressed Sophia actually is in pretty much all storylines, is he actually going to up the stakes accordingly? As you say, if not then what's the point [of the Nathalie sub-plot, for example].

Honestly, at the time I didn't think much of it. But after the second side job, and all the action we've seen in the last couple updates, yeah the idea of Sophia as sexually naive person should be dead. While I think it's fair that she's still a ways away from having sex with someone, I don't want to hear her say/think "Oh I shouldn't be doing this. Why am I doing this? Do I like it?" At this point it just causes an eye roll because it isn't believable. I'll give her a little bit of a break when it comes to same-sex action, coming to terms with your sexuality can be tough, but even that excuse is getting thin.
So yes, the stakes have to rise with Natalie.
