Well, there will be maybe no next projects if I don't get enough support! And actually my focus is 97% on the renderings and the story! RPG maker just simulates an open world! There is no other engine for "pic-novels" what could do that that good! So, in other words: rpg is just to walk from one event to the next! There won't be any typical rpg quests or riddles!
Roughly how long have you been working on this project, in both actual hours worked, and real time?
Here is a little motivational speech for you:
You are already up to like $200 it's only on day one... Which is a lot for a day 1 of any game patreon. It will almost certainly be in the thousands soon enough... Even if it does not get there quickly keep working at it! It'll get there. Don't make it about the money in your head, make it about the project in order to make more money, and to have a better project. When people donate to a Patreon it's not because "Oh that guy needs money..." It's because "I like the project this person is doing."
So if you sit back now, and relax, and are like "I'm gonna see if money rolls in before I continue..." Then you wait a few months... Not really doing any work on it... The money is gonna roll in really slowly, and this is a huge mistake, and could kill your project. Many people simply do not donate on first release projects. So many projects get stopped after initial release that it makes many people cautious to donate to such a project... However, when you got that 2nd... 3rd... 4th update out there.... People think Okay this one is gonna keep going, and I like it so I'm gonna contribute now.
Right now you have hot iron in front of you (your project). Don't let it cool down before you strike it (add updates). Since the level of content on this is in the 0.4 or 0.5 range, and not the 0.01 range which is very misleading... You have already proven that you under promise, and over deliver. Keep at it! Your game will be a success!
