Yes, If you look at Decent Monkey’s updates, He’s moving very quickly.

The only thing I know is L&P has college courses, a full or part time job and trying to develop his game. I don’t know Decent Monkey’s work or personal schedule, but it does appear he has more time to develop his game vs L&P or has help with development. This is why L&P needs to find help or if possible, adjust his schedule to allow him more development time.

IF you are talking about release rates... Blame the Patreon people who voted for it to be a 0.9 release skipping on 0.875 that is why we have been waiting for ages. Why they voted for 0.9 instead of 0.875 then 0.9 I have no clue... Makes 0 sense to me.

In comparing the two games you must factor in the grind. I love both games don't get me wrong, they are two of my favorite games. Both have MAJOR flaws though.

FB = Banality Simulator... sleep, get dressed, do houswork, get dressed, go out, quest person, go home, food, repeat.

If these two worked together in collaboration on 2 conditions one from each of them.

No one.The game still have 20 and half more days.We have no idea how big will be the next days.Not to mention in next years,we probably will get way better ways to reduce the size of the games without compromising too much with the quality.

From the very beginning, L&P plans were to release a full-day version update every couple of months. After a couple of Full-Day releases, He decided to move them down to Half-Day release, which was due to Personal issues (College Courses, Full-Part work, Game Development, etc). Towards the end of last year to the beginning of this year, He broke up a full game-day into quarter-day version to make one full day. Now on this version, he was planning on going back to Half-Day version again, until he releases a poll halfway through the production period of this new version. Some people didn't want to see another quarter or even a third-day release again and they wanted to wait until it was fully completed to enjoy more content.

I like his game and I'm a Patreon Member of his currently. I want his game to succeed. The slow corruption theme is good, but as of right now, his production time of the game is bouncing all over the place which is why people are complaining about the corruption being so slow. If you based his production time of the gamedays he completed this year and project it to be the same every year, He would need ten years to complete twenty playable game days left. I'm sorry but not even my balls can handle that...

The current problem is that he made the game story too big for one person to handle. Especially for a person like his current personal schedule. In order to correct this problem, he would need to hire help with the Art Work and/or Coding. If he doesn't want to do that then he may want to revise his story and omit some side plots that might help with his production time, or reduce or remove some of the characters that play an unnecessary roll in the story plot. Right now, I feel that the entire population of San Alejo has a story plot in this game.

Maybe common sense will prevail and the author will hire a team for further updates. Then this game will become a game of times and peoples. A successful project can be divided into individual characters, to breed them along the plot lines, and then combine them again. There will be a game "Santa Barbara", only more interesting.
