But that's the thing, there hasn't been anything close to a remotely "taboo" scene with the son yet unless you think him touching her ass while pushing her on the swing constitutes as "taboo".
Give us some teasing, some groping. Something more seductive than "wow, my sons ass looks nice during the shower!" after 3 whole updates.
Nobodies arguing about build up but so far, this is the Dual Family build up which is essentially pointless and mundane shit padding out each update.
The first update was so good due to the shit in it, like the son seeing his mother in a thong, or the basketball scene. Give us more of that shit and less "cello lessons".
I mean, what did that "catcall" scene even accomplish? It was a waste of time and resources that could have been used to make a better scene with characters we actually give a fuck about (the son/Daughter). The developer is focusing on the wrong aspects of build up so far imo.
Everyone of these games it's the same thing. It's too far extreme in either direction. Either it's Dating my Daughter where it took 1 million updates before we got a fucking handjob scene or it's Dreams of Desire nutty where super natural shit turns the game into a boring fuckfest within one update.
Nobody has managed to strike a balance yet, this developer looked like he was going with the first, almost perfect update, but now it's looking like a "come back in 10 updates for the first make out scene"
I promise you this! I will pledge 5 euro when the first blowjob start occurring, 10 for first sex scene, 20 for the firs gangbang... and so on...

I'm interested in this game and am kicking in a buck but I'm holding off on playing it till much later.
A slow burn is fine if you arn't left hanging every month (not the devs fault just a reality of letting players in before the game is close to finished).

I love this game but you have a point .. V25 and the only thing we did is touching a butt !! cloth on .
Yeah im also kinda ok with slow development but this one will take so long .250 renders in a month not enough.
also there was already 6 months of work in v0.1 so we can think this like 8 months of work guys.Its really slow development !

Not even a handy at this point, its pretty weak. Yeah its gorgeous but like others said this dev "...majored in blue balling in their free time..."

oh this is not a good idea because then the following will happen there are more and more different routes in the game there are always more and more new people coming with more and more routes and the story will not go any further and the game is just getting more confusing the story bring along and not only with boring
hours long irrelevant blah blah blah crap but also a little sex then someday the story can be completed and THEN afterwards he can tell a new game based on the same only from a different perspective
because unfortunately it is so the barely storys will continue to be told as there are constantly only updates that consist of purely cosmetic things, old sex animations are exchanged for new or any new other ways to be installed or updates where you only months long stupid stupid grind stupid has what the next update brings
nothing because the save then no longer work ...... (not to mention that the mc in most games more and more to a total failure or never can change something or never can take control to determine that it now goes according to his instructions)

es the game looks really great because you can not say anything the story is synonymous ok BUT witrklich? ALWAYS no sex to see anything is totally ridiculous what should that ??? 40 updates without sex ??? and then everything comes quickly in 1 update where she then fucks with everything and everyone and the game is over ?? Really sad about the game with a little bit more sex, the game would be a lot better, but well, it just makes you forget your players
the game is way too boring since there are tons of pictures but no choices to make. TONS of pictures in row without any decicion and so on. its not fun to run pictures - can just see anime xD

I'll say one thing about the .2 update (haven't played .25 yet) - I found the daughter swimming scene to be amazing. I know I won't have many fans here, but this scene was a good example of how the author sets up the player's perception (meta game) by showing you how he wants you to perceive the MC and how he wants you to see the way she perceives the characters around her. I also enjoy subtle interactions, so the daughter in skimpy suit was best eye candy of any game.
I could not agree with you more on where authors often go to extremes - there is a failure to hit the mark in a realistic sense. 2 games that in my opinion comes close are Depraved Awakening and DFD. DFD also hasn't crossed that mark, and is probably why it could still be interpreted as realistic. DA wins because there's no incest therefor you don't have to stretch your imagination to make it work.
This game (A Wife and Mother) is setting itself up in the Incest category about as well as I could imagine, to stay within the realm of realism. Have you even heard about a legitimate, successful incestous realationship in RL? How would you even perceive those people if you knew about it? This game is doing a damn good job of trying to stroke that threshhold of "how does this even come about?" This is where we are in these updates. I myself can't even ponder how the author is going to make this MC (intelligent, down to earth mostly, beautiful, has options, isn't emotionally scarred) fall into a true, realistic taboo trap. I'm so eager to see if he does this successfully. But for it to be successful, it cannot happen soon. Not where it's at currently.
