In theory what you explained is obviously correct. However, it's also a fact that the game would vastly improve by having a proper editor because this game has a lot of bloat content that is unnecessary. So the dev is basically a perfectionist and without anyone to stop him, what we get is a very large game with a very slow development time which is not a good combo. If the dev is directing the Lord of the Rings series, each book would be in 6 movies and each movie would be 5 hours long because the dev feels the need to capture every single miniscule detail.I know many do not understand how much work it is in making a game, just for some "few" scenes.
Those scenes got much work put into them when you pose the characters to the desired placement you want, and making them
look good when doing that pose, and to make them look interactive towards the other characters in that scene. Yes, there are pre-made poses. But often they even have to be adjusted to fit the character. It can take a long time just to get these things right.
Then you have dialogues. Try to make a scene with these things made well and see how long time it takes. (making a realistic conversation between 2-3 ppl.. when you at the same time need to shorten it down so there are not too many conversations that ppl end up losing interest) I promise you will get an "aha" experience. So I can really understand why it takes so long for a game with so many images for each update to get released. But I do agree, with this progress. No, not good.
This will take to many years to get an erotic scene with some naughty content that ppl are often after.
Ppl subscribe to get naughty stuff. If they want a tease and no action you can buy most games now' a day that is rated 16+ and see nudity and teasing scenes. But again, those games are all animated, so they will score higher on that part.
I'm not saying that I've made a great game myself, but I at least put in naughty stuff so ppl get what they are expected.
And please, not all are actually trying to milk ppl for money. I know several creators that do it because they love to make these kinda things, of course, they are happy when they get supported. (just like me.. because the computer I pay for monthly are not free)
Lust has made a really good game when it comes to the story part, the dialogues I read fully and are loving every second of it.
But I must admit things heat up to slow. If he only at least could put in more nudity at least, I think many here would be happier
This is what we got, multiple months of development time that only resulted in half of a game day content. I appreciate the intention of the dev to be detailed. But I think it's a really big mistake that doesn't actually benefit the game whatsoever.
Good update! I wish I could support him but his updates are too slow. There are very few good Female MC games nowadays. Spending $60 for each update is a bit too much.

I agree developers should consider constructive criticisms when they are valid, but without altering their overall vision. And let's be honest, there isn't much constructive conversations going on here. It's mostly just accusations of milking and calling L&P's patrons stupid. L&P set out to create something different with a pre-written story spanning 30 playable days. With meticulously posed and crafted scenes, based on the everyday life of a more conservative woman and her slow and more realistic decline into sexual depravity.
I find it to be a refreshing departure from the typical instant gratification porn games that permeate this forum. Now, do I wish that most games progressed this slowly? Absolutely not. Now that would be painful. But I do need character development, build up, and context for sexual scenes, in order for it to be exciting. Because without those things, CG sex scenes do absolutely nothing for me. There are other female protagonist games that I found enjoyable for a little while, such as "Lily Of The Valley" and "Anna: Exciting Affection" but those games seem like they are just written as they go, and those ladies have already nearly fucked the entire towns in which they reside, and so the sex scenes are no longer exciting for me. What L&P has managed to do, is keep many if not most people, at the very least interested and intrigued with his game. I wouldn't call that milking, I would call it building up to a climax.
Having said all of that, I do have concerns. Such as, the potential for developer burnout during such a long project, and the long intervals in between updates for a game this size. But, now as his goals are being attained, hopefully he will keep to his promises and be able to work on this full time, as well as hire some help. Someone to do coding and translation, as well as an animator would be a great start.
I do realize that this game's slow progression isn't for everyone, and in it's current state makes the anticipation a painful wait. But I do think that most players, in hindsight will find the future sex scenes very gratifying with all of the build up that has occurred.

I can see why the players are mad about the content and its slow progress and why they shouldnt be?..its a game rated as a 3D adult game and has been seeing the light of day for over 2 and half years and yet the intimate content are just not there but the main setback from the players perspective is..they shouldnt compare this game with the others its not like the other 3dcg Renpy games where the MC goes on a F**K fest track..its a game thats goes into the plot with depth and storyline..and i will be honest i havent played this game after the first two or three updates..Still waiting for it to grow and if you are pissed about the content yet so far..i suggest you do the same...insulting and posting negative comments isnt helping anyone...if it hadnt that kind of storyline and Renders that it would have been a different discussion..fortunately the game has a good story plot so the slow progress doesnt bother me so much..I wish the dev Good luck on his Journey of AWAM.
What day is the next update (Is it Thursday?)? Sofia should visit them in the nursing home to comfort the hunger of the old people.
