You are in some mistake.There is no playable day every 4 months since 2018.
It is obvious that with the half days having 2-3 really big events each, the updates will take more time.
For the update you're referring to (0.09), he first hit the 100% on created scenes and rendered scenes on 12/13 (check here). The update was published on 12/28 (for 30$ patrons) that's 2 weeks + 1 day.
For 0.095, he first hit the 100% on created scenes and rendered scenes on 03/27 (check here). The update was published on 4/4 (for 30$ patrons) that's 1 week + 1 day.
So I guess Alley_Cat's assessment is closer to reality than yours...

Anyone know if pregnancy will be added to this at some point? I think the idea of say a pregnancy ending for various characters/relationships would be pretty good.

I would say that there is a good chance of pregnancy,since Sophia has already said that she wants more children,but maybe not on all routes.Nobody knows for sure though.

Sometimes I feel like Old dog post game progress earlier here than L&P on own patreon page.
I just never find that game progress announcement on the L&P patreon, maybe I'm just blind.

Well, I think only dev knows about it, but he never spoils script of the game.
Actually there is small hint in Sophia's intro that shows this is possible and I believe pregnancy will definitively happen in far future of the game. The main question on filthy path is: who will be father of the child? Or it even might be: will Sophia herself know who is father of her child?

Sophia pregnant on filthy route could be tricky so I think it maybe only available on the good wife route,but this is all guess work.
The filthy route for Sophia has so many other ways for her to wreck her marriage .so maybe pregnancy will not play a part on this route.
