Why does it take more time to split the update into one-third? This is an obvious deception, and L&P and his followers will have to know shame.

No, he didn't hint at all. He outright said that Neil won't be back, and has no significant part to play for the rest of the game.
What a pity. I hope, the ones on good wife path will be rewarded with something, not just a faithful sex with a husband.

Wouldn't be a surprise if he attempt to correct the paths and consolidate lesbian and straight routes in their own separate paths. Just now he's told us he's going to revert the Dylan manipulating Aiden route, it's evident anything is possible and he's willing to make changes to an already written story.
