It seems the whole point is that there will be a type of sex game between Sophia & Aiden, either that or one of Morello's soldiers will see him off. Those like me who wanted actual genuine blackmail, with Sophia forced to do things out of character are in for a big disappointment. That's my guess. There will be no more blackmail & the game will be totally vanilla, incest & shota (what a combination). When it happens it will at least give me one more reason not to play this anymore. So, I won't be here every month pointing out that coercion is a fantasy always explored in corruption games etc. etc. What a massive let down but I did forsee it, so it's not a surprise. It's just come very early. Ah well.........

We can talk a lot about L&P, there are many reasons for criticism, but we must give him his due, this guy knows what he does and he does it great!
In addition, he is clearly talented not only as a 3D artist, but also as a screenwriter-writer!

For example, everything I missed so much in this scene of Sofia and Zach: Sofia looks very erotic, a chic short dress, but I really want the artist to show us the view between her legs, on her panties, so that Zak can see it.
Likewise, in my opinion, and I wrote about this earlier, Zak did not put his hands close enough to Sophia's chest.

I only agree to a point Bane. He is failing at the narrative when he desires a certain result. He has a scene in mind and then forces the narrative to get there even if it is not a logical following. The entire Aiden/artist event followed a certain narrative that was believable with a certain acceptance of Sophia getting all "I need to help these boys I have never met before". The introduction of Aiden in disguise was a well conceived "surprise" for Sophia. The Side job 2 was, I have said many times, forced. At no point does he allow her to be the teacher she is. The logic progression in that narrative was an insult to the audience and his own previous work. This makes him fallible which is a human trait. That is not bad, just a fact. He is not "The Bard", Hemingway, or Faulkner. Though he often "doth protest too much".

As much as I enjoy your discussions Bane I find your optimism for the production rate completely misplaced. We will know, with a certain degree of certainity, when the next update comes out. As you have stated the complexity will not diminish as he continues down whatever path he chooses. Therefore, this rate will be hinted at with the time split for the next update. I believe he is a 2 a year mode for whatever reason. This means 27 years to completion. He needs to get into a playable day production rate not these 1/3rd days. If he is putting 2 to 3 days at a time out he has a good chance of significantly increasing his support. He will also likely finish. If not, well........

I do not intend to argue with you. My idea is that L&P is no more stupid than you and me and understands the problems that you describe as well as me and you. I am sure he is interested in solving them. Therefore, only time will judge me with you.

Yes Indeed it should be interesting but it is also a little off putting for me. The fact that doing Aiden's task becomes a voluntary choice of Sophia dulls down the storyline for me. If this the only blackmail storyline it should have a pressure to do the tasks till the end. All other storylines already offer Sophia the liberty to do things voluntarily.
Also I kinda fear what Extremes are we talking off. It would also really suck if all the slow burn till now just suddenly starts taking leaps. Personally speaking it would make me feel that what was the point of the slow burn if it was all supposed to start taking jumps in the corruption.

I generally just don't care for the MC characters in the corruption games and only make the filthy choices but with Sophia I do care and that's why I guess it kinda makes me sad that the sudden progression might actually make her just like the other MC's in such games who will just go all the way on every route and I will stop caring for the character and the story.

I just don't want that to happen but L&P's recent post that you put here and the last update really makes me feel that it will happen. L&P does not look like he is wanting to take any steps back but instead keep going more and more extreme.

What's the problem if you can stop the blackmail in a future update ? Just don't continue that path if you don't like it, others enjoy it

12 tasks is a lot. To not redo the same scenes again and again, it has to go crescendo. The last ones will surely involve real sex (if the game is not abandoned by then)

I don't want Sophia to be anybody's "bitch." It's not even a concept, that has any resonance with me, or indeed, I would suggest, my entire generation. It started out slowly in the 70s & by the 90s was featuring in rap videos, which managed to make wealth & decadence look boring. (Yeah, cos' the world is full of ganglords & their bitches.....). [I knew of a crime boss's 3 women to the extent of playing pub games with them when I was a teenager & they weren't his bitches]. What I do want is another different minority pursuit, i.e. proper blackmail. That 3rd task was just the type of event that fits the bill wonderfully well but I am concerned this may have been the apogee. L&P would have difficulty to top that IMO.

As it's a feature of AWAM, I'm wondering if a clue to blackmail's relative importance is to be found in the apparent exclusion of Bennett from the poll, yet again? He's lived with a 'soon to be gone' sign round his neck for years after all. I consider there should be a rethink if the Aiden route is being positioned to turn into a sex game, besides it's a sacking offence, under the heading of "gross misconduct."

I thought the 3rd task was excellent & judging by the poll results so far, I wasn't the only one. I don't like shota so readjusted the game back to the carer route. I came off the Sophia/Dylan path at the first opportunity. Now the future of the routes is up in the air again & to cap it all, as if Sophia isn't busy enough, there's talk of her volunteering at a homeless shelter!
