Grew up in Florida, average humidity in the 90s, average temp in the 90s F. Ran all the time. Played football in the afternoon, Full court basketball in the afternoon. You get used to it. Though I could run further or faster at night, temp in the high 70s F, but that did not prep you for the 5k and 10k runs which were always in the afternoon.

Where I am now the hobos sit at the street corners for handouts all day, even as the temps hit triple digits.

just sayin'
Since we’re talking about weather now, Did some check the 5 Day Outlook for San Alejo yet? :ROFLMAO::p

90F=32ºC. But a "normal" midday is 40-45ºC
God, 32ºC is cold and normally I wear a jacket :ROFLMAO:

Captain: "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We are now approaching the San Alejo International Airport and will land in about 30 minutes. Local time is 2 p.m. Local temperature is a sunny 84 °F or 29 °C. We'd like to thank you for flying with us today! We hope you had a pleasant flight..."
At 3000 m 29ºC, I suppose

This is what Patricia said on the matter before they go running on day 12 / PD 5

Python:
s "Since when do you get up so early?"
p "Well, I just woke up this morning, saw the beautiful blue sky and remembered that you had the day off and that we still wanted to go running together. "
"But in this town you can only go running in the morning or in the evening."
  "The midday heat is unbearable!"
But, personally, the midday running is what I would put in the artistic licence folder.
Or the one labeled "very minor issues" ;)

Dear Dr. Apollodore,
On the basis of this excellent result, I'd like to ask for your advice on the correct interpretation to give to an image that appears after a few moments that we start playing this game.
We are still on the plane that takes the Parkers from their sleepy, cold, small hometown to San Alejo and the captain is just finishing his landing announcement...

What's Sophia watching on TV?
, a 2017 movie belonging to the X-Men film series.
Specifically, Sophia is watching a scene in which Wolverine (Logan) and Professor X (Charles Xavier) appear.
Based on what we've previously seen with the "Orange Is The New Black" case, how should I read this frame?
Is it perhaps a clue about Logan and Art Teacher Xavier as Sophia's potential sexual partners? Will they be the first? Or maybe they will be the only ones?
While anxiously waiting to know if one of your 10,000 theories concerns my case, I take this opportunity to send you my best regards
Dr Apollodore. When submitting your "professional appraisal", please note the precise selection of this exact scene.
Logan is driving Xavier when he says "She's like you... she's very much like you", just before they pick up Laura and their Limo get's shot to bits. Does this mean Laura is an as yet unannounced character or is she purely allegorical??

Apart from the theories of Dr. Apollodore (of which I am a devout believer) this is one of the most interesting reflections that I have read and it reaffirms my idea that Logan has a very important role in this game.

It's not about can you run in this temperature or not. I have had after school practice in peak summer at 45°C+. But we are the only ones running since we have no choice and no other time we could practice. Young kids play all day long. We are talking about a woman nearing 40 "voluntarily" going out to run in the middle of the afternoon. How many old people go about running in the afternoon on a "Thursday", working day that is.
I am talking about basic logic. Sitting in the park is the most illogical thing they could do. Places like Aiden's hideout are there throughout the city and easy to find. Sitting there of all places makes no sense.
Again I just mentioned it as a point, I'm not after L&P's throat for this. Since you'll started replying to it I had to talk about it further. This is something too trivial to be discussed.

It's just not very logically plausible, in a cold country it is a normal thing, but in a hot country no way. This is from someone who has been a track athlete for 16 years now. I know athletes who do workouts twice a day for hours and hours at stretch and none are even seen near the field in these hours. All teh parks, grounds, stadiums are absolutely empty. Not a single soul, so no matter you say it is a thing I have personally seen all my life.
DOH! Basic Logic. Damn how did I miss that concept! Clearly it is only from you!

And it is a thing I see where I live all the time. Now just to be clear I have lived on 3 continents, 5 different countries, and 6 different states here in the Old USA. This is not vacations for a week or two, this is living extended periods. So, we have different references. Don't imply that only your life experiences matter. So what we come from different parts of the world and SURPRISE people do things differently. Who'lda thunk it!

It is not out of the ordinary here. There are at least 3 serious women runners in my neighborhood. All have had kids. They run morning, noon, or evening. I have even seen them with the runners strollers pushing twins. I have several retirees run by my house at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. One guy has a wide brim jungle hat he wears to protect his face from the sun, shirt and shorts. Another guy always has his shirt peeled off and is styling for the ladies. Both are in their 60s+. I guess they are figments of my fevered imagination! Maybe you need to (as the Cherokee say) 'walk in someone else's shoes' before you pontificate. Just Sayin'! :devilish::cool:
