No, you got far more than that in the update. Apparently those on the Dylan route got hours worth of content last update.

I agree Bane71 that he is not "Intentionally" delaying the game. I think his issue is in the work and the construction of the story itself. IF this were a fully fleshed out story, game. He would be able to bring others in from the start of each update to work with him: Someone to translate; someone to code; maybe even an assistant to run the render process as he does the artwork creation and Photoshop. None of this would take away from his control if the narrative, dialogue was complete. He does not do this because it is not written completely. Whether he uses his art to complete a scene then does the dialoogue, narrative or he writes the dialogue, narrative for a scene and then does the art it all results in a very slow process and is very insular to assistance.
He had 43 pages of written work that needed translation at the last update, if I remember the discussion correctly. If we use that as just a reference for update sizes. I would prefer he sit down and spend a month or two just writing the story, game for the next ten updates. Then get the assistance he needs and start production. The production rate improvement would be worth the wait. The 20+days of translation, coding for each update would disappear as it would be done simultaneous to artwork. The scene creation and Photoshop would be the defining element and the rendering would be nearly simultaneous with only a small lag. We could easily see him approach, possibly exceed, 2 PD a year production rate. Versus 2/3rds PD we see now.
Unfortunately it won't happen. No matter how great you think he is Bane71 he ain't Melville, he ain't Tolstoy, he ain't John A. Roebling, and he ain't Stan Lee (Ooops). Is he better than a lot of the other Dev's? Absolutely! Is he going to complete his magnum opus? Highly unlikely! The time frame he is working screams against that. In my previous life we used to say Speed is Life. It also applies here, as he is approaching a two decade production plan. Will you be here in two decades?
Agree completely. DLC's that are not part of the actual story would likely happen after the story completion ergo 2040 +. DLCs prior to that time would bring the game to a screeching halt and, if they are not vital to the game, then why. Anything he puts into DLC is for another generation.

Why? Those on the Dylan route got four of the five events last update in a single playthrough. All five if they have saves for the different side jobs. That is hardly just Dylan groping Sophia.

Hold on... Are you angry because Dylan has more hours of content? Have you even really played Sophia/Dylan content?? I guess no and say you're getting your information from the "Code" and what you read on the forums. I agree that Dylan has more hours of content but less progress than anyone else in the novel as it stands. Here are the two screenshots from both Ellie and Dylan's last event with Sophia.

I would be happy to trade content hours between the two with the progression as well. Ellie can get longer content with the touchy-feely fabric scenes and give Dylan the making out in the bathroom with Sophia. Anyone here who plays Sophia/Dylan's Path knows that most of it is filler content.
But, I agree that using the polls, Ellie is popular like Dylan and should have the same amount of content. Also; if you compare the two stories, Sophia/Ellie's story is well written up to this point, and Sophia/Dylan's story not so much.

I'm not angry. Just pointing out that for those that play the Dylan route, there was more than just Dylan groping Sophia in the park. There was also the Aiden event as well.

Who, let me ask you, what authoritative source, told you that delays occur without a good reason?
His dad, mom, or maybe a girlfriend who laughingly told you that instead of working on a project, L&P spends time with her?
Listen to me, my dear, you don't have to be a genius to understand that the creation of AWAM is a huge work for a company of several specialists, and even more so for one person! Therefore, there are delays and things are not going as fast as we would like you and me, including the L&P itself.

But Dylan had nothing to do with Aiden's event with the expectation of sending or not sending him to boarding school. And the only other progression content for Dylan was the Mall Event, which he could look at but no-touch, and the Bikini Fashion show. After that, everything else is just filler content with little or no progression at all. Basically, filler build-up content.

You are right in many ways! Especially in my opinion that it would be much more beneficial to spend some time building a team. This would make it possible to talk about completely different production times! But most importantly, you will probably reach the logical end of the game in an optimistic time frame!
But at the same time, there are absolutely no guarantees that the time spent on creating a team will be spent with one hundred percent benefit. It is not a fact that there will be mutual understanding in the team and the work will be carried out successfully.
And of course, L&P doesn't care about me and others, whether we'll still be roaming this sinful land by the time the work is completed or not. And perhaps he himself will give up this venture!
I have heard it said that the ways are inscrutable. And I agree with this, so I am not as categorical as many here on the forum. That's all.

Because the Ellie/Sophia storyline (like any other lesbian story) comes from the heart of the dev and is written with a soul. LP really has a talent for such stories.
But Dylan's story seems to be being written for the fans, since it was originally planned with completely different content.
I miss Ellie
And that's a little unfair to the other storylines. But cash always wins.

That’s something I noticed too- a few days ago Dylan was a whiner, a little bitch, “c’mon mom, show me your boobs”. Now he’s crazy confident? It does not jive at all. Depending on what routes you are on he’s a very different character.

This is a waste of the developer time. It will be better released as the DLC later. These plots are not at all popular compares to with Sophia or Ellie (which only appears due to requests from fans)

I've been riding that train just about forever. I don't mind that Dylan has different story lines depending on what's going on with Sophia but the idea that his story needs to be told in detail, let alone told from his perspective, is exactly what you said: a waste of developer time.
The only Dylan storyline that doesn't involve Sophia which I won't ever complain about is with Ellie because, well, jeezuz, so much junk inside that trunk I don't think I'll ever get enough of it.
