Heh. I finally got around to playing this update and 34 pages of this thread have passed. I'm sure I didn't miss much...the attackers and defenders running out their storylines.
I'm ambivalent about this turn of events. I don't think I cared for the behavior after drinking. It actually felt a little rushed, if that's a term that can be used in this game.
Also, I would prefer L&P use general resistance to the thought of incest as opposed to making Sophia appear so clueless. It's one thing to lose respect for the character if she chooses to go all filthy, it's another if she is written so unaware as to not suspect the real reason for her son's behavior.
So, in both cases, I feel the suspension of disbelief and/or immersion was stretched too thin this time.
Renders continue to be top notch. Overall plot is loaded with possibilities. L&P needs to start showing a little tighter weaving them together and maybe a little less wide a net over such a large cast of characters. Focusing in on a half-dozen or so could really make this thing start flying.

Considering that L&P stated he will abandon the game if he does not reach 8k come February, I'm not too concerned with the addition of a possible assistant.
I'll be happy if he deems the ~5-6k he realistically will have at that point enough to continue working on this.
