Yes, it says so on his patreon page, it's a "choice-based visual novel". No idea why you are expecting anything else.
And that this story will be a slow build towards the sexual stuff has also been known from the beginning, it what makes it stand out, I and others love that aspect of it.
If you want a visual novel with quick sex there are plenty of those around, there is no shortage of those.

I think that what's good about this VN is that it develops rationally and is not just a pretentious slow build mockery like Dual Family. Having said that, I think it's time for the dev to start progressing with the sexual aspects of the story. I don't mean Sophia humping every male (or female) around her but working on the sexual tension that's already built and build a little more. A little teasing, maybe some accidental touches or a little spying. There are a lot of ways to keep a steady pace and be a little more explicit...

I know at the very end of .05 but seriously theres been plenty of opportunity to slip in more and if you think of each day or update as one episode of a tv series than i think that it would be a little better if the tease was a little more frequent. I mean walter white had already cooke his first batch of meth by epispode 3. I see the merit in this game but it needs alittle more of a story arc in each update rather than constantly introducing new characters and teasing at the idea of sex. Im not saying she fucks a bunch of people right away but maybe add some more nudity in the mean time.
