I came to the conclusion that the event with Ellie and Julia alone at the pool is just redundant.

My guess is this is the same thing like the 3 jobs in DmD.Mr.Dots wanted to add 2 other jobs to ch.1.But instead of 1-2 updates in the end was clear that he will need maybe 4-5 or even more updates to bring them.Of course fans are against that-to put on hold the game for months just to release alternative paths.So that idea was scrapped.I think same goes here.

Maybe the right thing to say "girl friends"(separated) and not "girlfriend"(together). There is a difference between these two terms. Well, at least that's how my understanding of English says, but English is not my original language, so I don't known if it is right.
