Your second post of all time got me curious. I looked at your post history and your only other post is on a game that is labeled "abandoned" and yet you posted that you hope it (Thinking About You) gets finished.

I'll let you in on a secret, what you're seeing from AWAM is exactly the sort of evolution that precedes a game's abandonment. You may think people are moaning, and that everyone should just be patient, but sooner or later AWAM is going to end up exactly like Thinking About You; dead and abandoned.

People are impatient because they can feel this game slipping away.

So I lurk there isn't a crime in that but you have literally no proof of cancellation nor abandonment. The developer has been quite active with his game. I think a lot of people forget these games are usually done by one person. I mean if you want to talk real development outside of AVN stories then I follow a guy who has been developing a ST Voyager game completely on his own. His renders and quality of gameplay is phenomenal it's been in development for almost 10 years and not one single playable demo has been released but has a loyal support group because he is very active engaging and because his project is incrediable.

Patience is the key. The update will come. Slagging off Lust and Passion because he isn't releasing his update to HIS game when you want it to be released is dumb. A Wife A Mother has been a fantastic project and is very well made. LP is engaging with his audience unlike many others and yes my first post was on Thinking About You a game I REALLY enjoyed and would like DN to continue. But I won't slag them off because isn't releasing or updating. I don't know him or them. I don't know what he has going on personally. Nor will I question that. If DN decides to release an update for TAY then I will support. If not then I'll enjoy what we already have. Same goes for AWAM. But I don't see AWAM going anywhere anytime soon.

If you have that sort of outlook on Patreon driven games and novels then maybe this genre isn't for you.

It will be released when it's released. So what if he/they are waiting for first day of the month. That's their choice. Just as it's Rockstars choice what month day and time they release another installment of GTA.

This is no different to what Bugbear did with The Next Car Game which became Wreckfest. That's my two pence on the matter anyways. Update will come. If it doesn't be happy with what we already have.

You are wrong! He decided to make this game, because he want to earn money! I was on his patreon, but from 1 year i am not. When i paying for something i want to have progress! I am customer! He is ofering something and i want to have it and use it! I am paying for that!
Firstly, you are not a Customer in the patreon model, You are a supporter. You don't feel like he is doing well, you stop supporting. That's all the influence you have.

Second, no matter what you say about speed. His speed has been pretty much the same throughout, from 4 years. And this is not my personal opinion but shown through stats calculated by dedicated members of the thread. He hasn't gotten slower. He just never got faster but his game's demand surely grew.

So, People are supporting this Dev so they can talk to someone about somethings.

The game is unimportant. It's the community of whiners complaining about the slow updates that matter.

Not true.

His update schedule has not gotten much longer, but his content has dwindled with each release..

He went from releasing a playable day per update, to 1/3 of a day per update, to 1 event per update.

The estimated completion went from 2020, to 2036, to 2058. Even L&P had to admit that it will take him more than a decade, now.
..and as people have pointed out, technology will advance and he will need to continuously UPGRADE his game. In 2017, animations were sparse, now they are widespread... which takes more time.

I challenge you to do better then. I repeat most games are made by ONE person. Look at history, how many games in gaming history were made by one person and how many regularly gave updates, and how long was the development cycle. Answers are 1. A lot. 2. Not that many gave regular updates. 3. Years and years. Even with paid alphas and betas. If you support a development and a project you support them all in. Slow development and all. TBH personally speaking slow burn games are the best kind. And tbh it hasn't been THAT long since 0.150. Become a Rockstar. Haley's Story. A Mothers Love. Summertime Saga, Dessert For Daughter and many others have ALL had long development processes and all have been slow burns and all of them turned out to be fantastic games and some of my favourites.

For Sophia to have sex with anyone other than her husband, new tags would have to be added, which doesn't seem to be in the near future.

I don't have to do better, you've already shown that it can be done better, and faster by other devs.

Didn't most the of the games you mentioned started after, and finished before this one?

No most of them are still in development. Summertime Saga, Become a Rockstar, A Mothers Love (On Hold due to personal legal issues) are all still in development. Haley's Story and D4D were the only ones that were completed and I couldn't tell you dates without looking into it.

My point still stands. What happens when you rush games? You get bugs. Broken messes and incomplete games. Think MGSV. Of course the reverse is also true. No commuincation can lead to failure ala Duke Nukkem 4ever. It's about finding that balance. Personally speaking I don't think AWAM has to worry about that.

And?

Games aren't just all about sex you know. It's a visual story. Telling a story. A game that just has sex in it all the time and little narrative grows old FAST. A Mothers Love took like 8 updates and over 2 years to get it's first sex scene. You want sex right a way log onto Xhamster or Pornhub lol.

The developer decided to make this game because he wanted to. He puts it on platform where if you wish to support his work, you do or leave him alone.
If he doesn't want to work you are no one tell him to work. He is not under a contract with anyone. He is his own boss.

At this point if a single 3d vn is the biggest catastrophe for you, then you really need to reevaluate your priorities or the easy solution move to other good games. Come back when this one is updated. Because absolutely no one has been able to do anything about his speed. It is what it is. If you can change it, then sure do something, Change it because I too would like quick updates. Personally I have just accepted, this is his pace and he can't do more.
As for the word "catastrophe", English is not my native language and my English vocabulary is not wide
That's why the word "catastrophe" was chosen incorrectly

I hope you understand the general meaning of my text
Because surely this 3D NV is more important to you

What you are mistaking is that his speed is the same the size of the events has increased.

Previously he could do an entire day in 500 renders, now 500 renders is 1/5th of a day. He can still make 500 renders in the same time. But the days have gotten longer.

I'm just curious. As a fan of this game (which I assume you are) does it not bother you at all with the fact that with the current rate of development it is more than likely that this game will never ever see completion? From your posts it seems you're very content with the pace L&P is going at the moment.

Due to the popularity and growth of this game project and its revenue potential, L&P can develop it with a multiplayer team.
I say again, Please stop flattering and let the protests be heard in this process
