Before starting with the speculations for 0.160, let's recap the Dylan/Ellie story line!

The whole Dylan/Ellie story line depends on the bathroom incident on PD 4: if Sophia goes into the bathroom while Dylan is showering and she does not lock the door when she gets out, Ellie goes in thinking it's free and sees Dylan naked (kind of a butterfly effect! ).
Thinking he did it on purpose, she then plots her revenge by slipping a couple of viagra pills in his sandwich during the beach event (PD 9)

Only if this happened AND Sophia is doing Aiden's tasks, then the first bonus event happens on PD 11, with Dylan helping Ellie with her PC and starting to getting a little closer to her sister. No choices were required during this event.

In the last update (PD 12) we had the event with Ellie, Dylan and Christine, again under the condition of the bathroom incident and Sophia still doing Aiden's tasks.
This event was mainly for Dylan to get points with Christine (3) and only at the end he can save Ellie from being grounded taking the blame for the cigarette (day19_Dylan_takes_the_blame_for_Ellie = True). If that happens, when Ellie comes back from the beach at night (whether Sam gave her a ride or not), she will thank him and again the relation will warm up a bit.

Now what happens on this one it's hard to tell as there are no hints in the story.
We only know that there are 2 parts and being the only event it seems quite strange. Probably there will be a short time jump between the two, e.g. something that happens at home during the early hours in parallel with Sophia lesson Sophia's bonus event or the visit at Morello's and something a little bit later. With Sophia back from school or Morello. Or without Sophia at all.
And, obviously, it's only fair to assume that taking the blame for the cigarette will play some role in the event, whatever happens.

So... what do you guys think is happening "In the meantime at home..."?

Sure, the story line starts already on PD 1 with the car trip from the 3000m ASL of San Alejo airport down to their new house, with the two already bickering. But I was limiting the scope to the point where choices enable or prevent the rest of the story.

Kinda curious because in my playthrough they're Christine's ciggies. She even takes the packet out of her handbag to prove it. So really not sure what Dylan taking the blame is meant to achieve.

Did however note that L&P's response to my post dismissing Dylan fucking Ellie this early in the game was with his typical obfuscation with what he's planning

L&P just played a masterstroke here. There wasn't going to be any 155 version at all. He planned to release 160 version itself in a span of about 8 months. To avoid getting extra hate and decrement in patron money. He faked making 155 version. Prepared a fake progress bar . Said it's gonna get released on this day but when the date came he came up with brilliant idea of animation delay. Now the actual hidden progress bar is somewhere around 50-60% mark . And we have been fooled without even knowing it. GOOD JOB L&P. This makes a great plot for next Money heist season...

Meh. Wasn't planning on downloading the v.155 update anyway, so makes no difference to me whether he updates in 10 updates or the entire PD.

It's an endless loop now, cause when .160 is ready with .155 animations, "hot af" animations for 0.160 are not even started, and without them the whole release "makes no sense", so he'll start working on version .165 while "partner" working on .160 animations, etc.

In other words, there is no point in paying attention to the progress report reaching 100 percent on all four.

Without targets L&P would stick to, the progress reports didn't mean much even before this. The move to 1/3 days was meant to mean updates would come out every 2 months, and 2 PDs a year. Which isn't ideal, but at least approaching reasonable in terms of game completion.

And now some people are saying we might not even reach the end of this PD. Sucks for those waiting for the next Dylan/Sophia event, which I believe is update 7.

There's no animations in 0.160, at least not the special ones, which it's not a good thing, because it means that there's nothing too spicy in that update. I think that L&P should stop making spoilers.

At minimum three years. So that effectively means never because this game won't survive another three years.

Let's not move the goalposts - L&P does that on his own. Or at least, if we're going to move them, move them towards achieving sex scenes within a reasonable time frame.
