And what exactly is that supposed to tell us? You're apparently working with L&P in some way or another, or atleast you know certain things before most others do, judging by some of your posts. What exactly would make it so very extremely surprising if this person doesn't exist?

Like I said I don't "know". I'm just giving you an element that is my feeling based on my dicussion with L&P these last days for the release. There were last minute changes in animations. The way he talked about this guy and what he talked about let me think either he has a major problem of personnality dissociation or this other guy exists.

Probably the most erotic part of the update was Sophia hiking up her skirt. A video related to that part of the update would have been cool.

Agreed this is by far the best part of the update. An animation of this scene would've been amazing and actually been an animation that would add to the story. These moments are what keep us hooked on this game, just a shame they're so short and take so long to produce.

I'm a little curious now what's going to happen with Aiden on PD16, when presumably task #5 is meant to take place. But if Sophia talks to Don Morello, that's the "comfortable" solution, so she's no longer obliged to do it.

Is Sophia going to smirk at Aiden, knowing that she's made powerful allies, and that she beat him at his own game?

you have to play Part 1 to the very end and let the game export your progress.
provide a meaningful name to keep different playthroughs apart.
you start Part 2 by importing one of your exported game states. save files made by anything other than Part 2 are marked incompatible cuz there is simply no content of Part 1 to get Part 1 save files working.
keep in mind, only exported game states of my android port of Part 1 are usable!

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

As usual in AWAM, most choices are "stop or continue". In this scene, there are few possibilities to stop the 4th task.

I meant such choices as in the second sentence that we could have chosen that Sophia shows her panties discreetly

That's where i think he knows exactly what he is doing. Its like a woman if she gives you what you want without restraint. Your desire for her will most likely fade quickly. Same thing for this story

I agree completely, the overwhelming reactions from contributors to this channel confirms this absolutely. People aren't really interested in the wider story, they want a quick fix. Give them what they crave and the game's finished, the desires gone. It becomes another second rate, lame porn game. Full marks to L&P sticking to his plan.

Meanwhile L&P must be laughing his socks off at the pathetic whines of folks complaining.
For sure the other good folks coughing up cash on Patreon will be back for the next update, ditto the same pirates here wanting something for free.
L&P will be equally delighted at all the publicity you're giving, he's banking. Good for him. He's the winner here. Because we all know he's making an amazing product.

Among the one lines squeals of hormonal anger and outrage flooding this platform, there's been some well written objective reviews, the best so far coming from Ginger Sweet. So let's welcome these.

From some of the stunning new images posted (more please) this update looks like another triumph worthy of praise. The fans have been fed and watered once again, but not too much, they'll be back, haha.

Well, maybe the dust is settling here again. Any place not much disturbed for 5 months can gather a lot of dust to kick up when a crowd suddenly calls round. It's surprising how many fans expected more action than was actually delivered. It's as if they hadn't known this was going to be just 2 segments of 1 playable day, or that this was AWAM & L&P.

So, to the update & it's a mixed bag IMO. First the animations & as I know nothing of how to create them, difficulties, time factors etc., except what I read here, I can only look at them as a general viewer. I thought they were very good. Yes, I've seen better & have also seen far worse. Did they add to the story? Yes, or at least they added something to one of the side-bars to one particular path within the main story. Were they worth a massive delay? No, absolutely not but I appreciate that this was something of a practice run for later. Now a problem occurs as to whether there'll be a "later" given AWAM's pace of a Galapagos giant tortoise born when Queen Victoria was crowned.

I've got no qualms about the animations being created with secondary characters. IMO the people involved are more important to the story than many other secondary folks of San Alejo's populace acquainted with Sophia. [Both side-jobs contain quite a few....just glad it wasn't the Apostles].

Now, the save transfer to Part 2.......nightmare. I gave up on the patch after trying a few times, managed to access a revised Part 1, downloaded that & took it from there. This involved a far longer timespan than was needed to play the update. That I wasn't the only one with 'issues' can be seen in the foregoing thread. After 5 months....well ~#@* &?£$**>! I am of a generation that had a computer in school. Yes, A (as in 1), computer for well over 1,000 people...cutting edge, took up half a room. It was mainly tinkered with by science teachers & boffins. Its' impact on me was zero, (& on the school as a whole as far as I could see). AWAM has a diverse bunch of fans & that includes age range.

As to the VN itself, I have to say that because of choices I must have made previously, (it's been so long I've forgotten what they were), there was no scene at the diner for me. That means no Dylan but I can certainly accept that because I like him 'in the background' as much as possible. There was no Don Morello either because asking the Mafia for help, after just avoiding being in their debt is, IMO, the greater (& stupider) of 2 evils, especially when we know from 'outside' information that Bennett is on his way out, (if he ever reappears). That just left the 4th task to run through.

This post is now long enough, so I'll come back to the subject of the task in another commentary.
