If you look closely at the dialogues of that event, the fashion show event was more beneficial to Sam than Dylan. After that fashion show event, Sophia/Sam realashship developed rapidly and it was an event that gave a turning point to Sam's progress.

What should you please get Dylan from Sophia in the current phase of the game. Maybe the same as the three children in sex lessons, that's all there is to it.
