AWAM gives you the option of pursuing a non-traditional Mother son relationship.

Here are a few others:

No More Money - No Mothter Son sex yet (now in Early S3) but some great slow burn and more genuine relationship build up

Are they the equal of AWAM in all things - No.

They do tell a story from start to finish or tell a story that actually feels like it is moving in a definite direction and towards some kind of ending (and you get immersion from this, or at least there is enough for me to enjoy the immersion) - Yes.

Here is the reality - AWAM, especially after the first few PDs, has very good renders and a detailed story where Many different fetishes can be pursued.

L&P's added some animations:
* They take too long to create, based on what I see in other creators' work
* I don't trust L&P to be honest with us - and us includes paying supporters like me - because he has said repeatedly that the animations will not delay release of new revs and then they do
* He is still learning how to do animations and, even if the guy in the mirror is his animation creator, I give him credit for trying to add an important component to any good/great AVN out today

The problem is that AWAM is simply Too Ambitious and creating all of the paths for all of the different Sophia/Ellie/Dylan (and even Liam) desires takes a LONG time for a one-man shop.

L&P even admitted this early on, which is why there is no Liam cheating path early on when it looks like Sophia catches Liam with a younger woman in a women's clothing store (the younger woman is Liam's Bosses' youngest daughter).

There are very few AVNs out there that tell a great story, have top tier renders, animations, music, and sound, all while maintaining production speed and consistent production values. I think Summers Gone and Chasing Sunsets either has these or checks almost every box, but they don't have the Mother Son relationship you are looking for.

yes. I would actually prefer the game be rushed and be completed in 1 year than wait another 5 years. Absolutely. Trust me you aren't going to give a crap in 5 years about some VN that was trying to be the best but took so long it couldn't even catch up with industry standards.

Fair point and I agree. Even if I want the updates to be sooner, I would not like to see the game going downhill in terms of it's quality.
This is a very ambitious project and I respect L&P for his passion regarding this.
Knowing that we have to wait for so long for every next update is indeed frustrating, but I cannot ignore that while playing it I'm personally quite satisfied with the outcomes. Whether it be in terms of writing, the erotic scenes, the buildup, the renders, ...everything.
Some may disagree with me but I understand.
I love this game for what it is, and I would not like it to be rushed just for the sake of completing it in 5 years.
Hope he/she does better in the future.

I still enjoy AWAM, but no longer in the hope of enjoying a complete story or for an immersive experience.

I enjoy it now as a bit more of a nostalgic look at one of the first few AVN's I played.

He was one of the first creators I supported with $ and I've supported him at various levels longer than I have any other creator, first on Patreon, then on SS.

It was a great introduction to the AVN genre but the Incredibly slow pace of development means that it cannot be anything more with me.

When L&P decided that AWAM was to become a generational AVN (meaning it would take at least 25 years to complete at the current pace), I had to stop pretending that I was going to get anything close to my early AWAM experience.

AWAM is certainly far more than 'The Cat in The Hat' and far less than Azimov and Heinlein for one of my entertainment choices.

I'll enjoy the one scene short stories with favorite characters but, honestly, as my early AWAM experiences fade before thousands of sunsets, even those one scene vignettes will lose the battle to compete for my time.

For those who feel as I do, we simply deserve more.

In response, Ronald D Moore released a script "Coda", which was how he saw the show ending.

Really getting the feels that (particularly when L&P gets kicked off Patreon for breaking the rules) the best we're going to get in terms of endings is a text file of a script for whatever L&P was hoping the ending was going to be.

Still kinda hoping for something like this for whatever he was planning before removing the Twist.

It's been 38 days since the last update.
Excluding the 7 days week off due to his move and the Christmas holidays he has worked for about 28-30 days for this upcoming update.
As per the recent development speed, I think he would require about 45 days to complete the current one. Which means that it would be out around mid-january (+15 days) or the end of it depending upon the no. of renders this event has.
Which means we have to wait till Feb to play the next version. (public version)
I hope there is something exciting in this update or else it would be a shame to wait for almost 2 months for just some fancy hair cutting scene.
However if the next event is as big as L&P claims it to be then I'd gladly wait for 2-3 months for it to be completed.
Hope that he/she delivers this on time. Good luck for the development!

When I told L&P that in my opinion, Sophia would not have had sex with Patricia on Sunday, point 4), he replied: We'll see.
My question was asked as I don't think Sophia is crooked enough to have sex with Patricia. Seems too premature to me. The only person who might have this privilege is Nat. But Nathalie, Sunday is not scheduled in the event. Then I remembered the scene where Patricia invites Sophia, and her mentioning Zoey. At this point I asked if Zoey was a lesbian and L&P replied We'll see, point 31)
At this point I believe Sunday's lesbian scene will be about Patricia and Zoey, with Sophia only being peripherally involved. It could be that Sophia catches Patricia and Zoey having sex and hides and watches. Knowing Sophia's great skill in spying on people, I assume that she will be discovered by one of the two, I think Zoey, who will then try to seduce her in private. I don't think she will go beyond a few kisses, fondling of breasts and maybe of pussy. Sophia needs to discover the bi-sex side of her with people who are not too close to her, to have new open minds about sex.
This is what will probably happen for the event at the museum as well. There will be straight sex scenes, which will probably be with Sophia alone with one of the two boys, without the presence of Patricia. This is because it will lead her to discover aspects of her sexuality without the involvement of characters close to her. In fact, both Zoey and the museum boys, after having routed Sophia towards certain paths, can be eliminated. now Sophia can handle her sexual urges on her own when and with whomever she wants. She is now mentally free.

I agree and I share your doubts about Sophia/Patricia during the ranch day. For where we are **at the moment** with Sophia/Patricia relationship it's difficult to see how they can cross that line and make such a big step. The last events with Patricia were 1) the yoga event, with some touching/teasing during the exercises and some direct teasing during the shower and 2) the concert, again with some touching, and some verbal teasing but nothing much (even if that was a necessary condition for continuing Sam's event). So the scenario you describe (or any variation of it) could be indeed plausible in the light of the current state of things.

Disclaimer: I really look forward to any Sophia/Patricia interaction as I really like the two characters and their dynamics, so in what I'm about to say there could be some bias and some latent wishful thinking, for as hard as I try to be objective.

There are other factors, though, that **could** still make it possible (at least IMO)

• it has already happened in recent events, in different ways and at different extents, that some sort of big step, someone said a "switch", is taken to move things forward:
  • Dylan and the run in the park: he suddenly became "a man" in Sophia's eyes because he beat the guys in the park. Nothing major happened besides some groping, but we'll soon(-ish) see what kind of impact it has on the progress of the path.
  • Nathalie's event: while sexy and definitely enjoyable, had quite a step taken with that lesbian domination vibe which was quite unexpected.
  • Sam's event: while something was expected I think that the general consensus is that it went beyond expectations, again something "new" was introduced (drawing skills) to push things further.
• each of them has been discussed thoroughly here on the forum in terms of "realism"/believability, poor writing etc, that's not the point, I'm just pointing out that we have already seen some "jumps" to push things further.
  
  
• There is still the museum event that could grow their relationship and, above all, their "complicity". We have been told that is not a lesbian event, but I won't be surprised if it will still award a bunch of Patricia's points. In a way, it **could** play out initially in a similar way as the concert, with Patricia teasing and provoking Sophia with their intentions with the boys and then whatever has to happen with them will happen. While that won't set them on a lesbian path, it will surely reinforce their complicity.
  Maybe it is casual, but we can see that already in the different way a more corrupted Sophia answers to Patricia's similar allusion during the first meeting with the museum guys and during the dancing at the concert:

• While we still don't know how big the event it will be in terms of number of updates, the occasion of visiting a new place for almost the whole day might suggest that there will be more sub-events that can help to build up the situation.
• And being out in the wilderness for a horse ride, if it is the case, offers many possibilities for an unexpected event that suddenly put the two (or three) in a daring situation. Trivially, it could be a sudden storm that surprises them, they have to take cover, wet clothes... yada yada yada they come back more relaxed . Classic and uninspired cliché, I know, but it's just to give the idea. (and btw that's one of the reasons why I asked Mr.Gamer__ to ask that question about the weather).

So, long story short, I'll take what it comes, I still hope for Sophia/Patricia as it is not so impossible IMO. If it has to be Zoey, I just hope it will be an interesting character like e.g. the undervalued barmaid of the biker bar .
