There will always be people that complain that things aren't happening soon enough, without contributing anything to help other than more negative feedback and their opinion as some sort of wide spread fact.
If the dev is still posting regular updates, either in text or in images, about the work in progress and explanation (whether long or short) about release status, I'm fine with waiting.
There are projects that release less than 30 quality renders per release that does so in a month or two's time, honestly those updates just makes it feel like the wait has been wasted. Plenty of games don't go too far beyond 100ish renders per update, whether it's hardware/skill/time limitations, or just milking the patrons, I'm glad and appreciative that there are devs going for a large update and maintaining their quality.
@Lust&Passion Keep up the work that you do for your patrons, your primary audience is them, not the random user that has their own expectations on how every developer should magically operate without consideration. I'm looking forward to the quality I've seen so far with what is available, do what works best for you and your patrons in a consistent manner.
