Wow what a boring statement, he now wants a a poll for a alternative blackmail path, dude we already have a blackmail story with her teacher colleague so going with a second blackmail story it just shows me that he doesn't know how to write a story to make Sophia cheat, although like the story was going from the start with her husband, the lack of his attention, no sex, more at work than home, that would've been a more "realistic" progress of the story for her to cheat...
Jeez i wonder who's fault is it, 'nuff said...

Bullshit. The guy boots about what an expert he is, then says he can't hire help, because his DAZ library is too big. You can find a coder to save you the RenPy time, you can find a writer to help you with the writing, you can find a guy to pose crowd characters or build scenes in DAZ, you can find an animator, you can find someone to do postwork...
And this crap about "people wanting cheap porn games" *using Jim Sterling's mocking voice* is pathetic. Considering how many examples of quality, well written games there are. If anything, most of the projects that get supported a lot have either quality writing and/or solid gameplay.

btw is it just me or the second blackmail proposal sounds even worse? I prefer the first one. Its a difficult pill to swallow but nonetheless can be swallowed
The idea to cut some stories and make some spin off and go on with the principal route it's a logical conclusion to make faster the updates without loose the great art work.

Chronicle of a Death Foretold, this game will soon be labeled "abandoned". I expected nothing less from this dev, it was obvious that this game was going to end up abandoned sooner or later, because his lack of commitment was evident, he hardly ever kept his promises and delays became a habit. My deepest condolences to the sponsors who believed in him.

I just threw in the thought of completing the development of the game, fans immediately came up promising to overwhelm the author with money.
It would not have repeated the situation with the Double Family, where the author scored 4 times more than he dreamed and abandoned the game.
Here the author also promised to accelerate when he picked up 4K, scored 5+ and slowed down.
there's a lot of types of sex games and i love this one! yes it's a teasing game and it's perfect....lust and passion you must carry on the devellopement of the game without changes....i want the sophia's blackmailed and i love this game..i already said that....but i love this game

Can anyone take him seriously after this? He's basically saying he doesn't care about the people who gave him thousands of dollars worth of support to see the game finished. It's all just numbers for him. He is admitting that he is seriously considering betraying all the trust he got.
This takes him completely out of the list of devs I would consider giving patronage to. Regardless of the quality this game or next ones might have.

no wonder if this 500 pages full of critics. move on guys if this game gonna end or abandoned we still have more awesome game to support

There's another reason. It looks like he loves money very much (who doesn't...) and he would share his profits if he "delegated" part of his work to another person.
I don't understand how he can think that this is the point at which it is reasonable to abandon the game,considering the amount of cash he is still making. I understand that he may be annoyed be people just complaining about speed without constructive criticism, but if he cannot take opinions of paying patrons, then he really should just abandon game.
This developer has a strong feeling of deliberately slowing down and getting more sponsorship.

lmao, im pretty sure this guy tops the "arrogance with mediocre product" chart. there are other cocky devs here but either they have really a high quality game or are at least a bit more humble.

he just buying some time to milk more, if he speed up his project and put some sexy scene he definitely see people satisfied.
It's not about bullying it's how a overprotective mother react. First step is what dev do, talk to principal, police and Aiden. It's normal, Dylan just got in and Zac is single parent's child. Aiden knows that. The question is how far Sophia goes?

And photos from 20 years ago is the most unrealitic thing to happen in the game.
Seriosly they will find photos with Sophia showing her belly button on the beach or what?The woman is so prude that anything more is out of question.
About the money I have told him long ago to stop thinking that he suddenly will reach 12 000$ or something like that.
The games that did it,did that no later than 6-7 months after the start,in most cases even in 2-3 months.
And no they don't have sex from the start.Au contraire most build around year before first sex.
The biggest problem is not the slow progress or lack of sex,but the long time between updates.
