If anyone asks why the game is so hyped, this is one answer.
I can totally relate. I mostly comment here out of boredom. Every time I check f95 for a new update on one of the games I play (I think more than 40 at the moment), I check this thread, have a laugh and maybe comment.
It's also crazy how desperate people are for a teaser. I just don't get it.

I can pay this money and post it here, but what next? I don't want to support him anymore, because he does not kept his word. And I'll make everyone of his patreons nervous. It's not worth it.
When this update is come out I will pay for it. This is the best thing to do about him for me - here are the money, when the work is done. Animations, poll, new hair, PC update, new home, another new home... and he forbids us and he will ban us as a final if we don't do exaclty what he says!
We all like his work, but someone will show up tomorrow with a game similar (or better) to AWAM and then we will lose interest of AWAM, because there is nothing happening! Because the time is the only thing that we don't have and L&P waste it to create and rendering scenes about secondary characters like Dylan and Ellie...

A sheer thought of concealing an image behind the paywall in the VN where sex doesn't exist as for now, only makes me smile.
It's not an indulgence or patting on the back as a sign of gratitude. A few out of many have decided to go far and beyond in their support, paying him £30. Instead of cherishing these maniacs and appreciating the effort for the extra financial backing it may actually backfire. The crown is getting heavier and affecting the thinking process. It's literally the situation of a dog, biting the feeding hand.
Leaked teaser = free advertisement. Someone, explain that to him. The dev doesn't have to do jack shit in promoting VN, fans are doing that for him. How a person isn't capable to dig it that a bulk of his backers had come from a place like this, is incomprehensible. Silly me was thinking that a priority gotta be focused on accelerating development in ANY form, not chasing down naughty leakers.

The developer of this game was a college student who wanted to make a porn game.
Instead of completing the game and selling it on Steam, this developer decided to post an alpha test version of the game on this site and raise money.
(A game that is still unfinished after 6 years...)
But now they start insulting people on this site by calling them pirates.
nobody pirates early versions of the game
