That's a weird way of seeing it. Sophia is the protagonist. Dylan&Co are supposed to be side-characters for the different branches and routes the player can choose to play. But that is not happening for quite a while now. Dylan has become the 2nd MC, and so he has his very own storyline completely unrelated to Sophia. It's not that Dylan shouldn't have a plot, it's that Dylan has it's very own game inside the game at this point, which makes it an issue in terms of development time.



You're not seeing the whole picture. L&P said a while ago that he's planning to add more Dylan content as he's the 2nd MC now. None of this was planned in the first place, so removing other things such as sidejobs and replacing it with more Dylan content will just end up being the same shit in a different wrapper. By that I mean development time. Sure, removing the sidejobs may shave a couple years off, but you're still looking at ~40 years of development if he continues to release ONE day in over 2 years. And this estimate doesn't even take into account the fact that this project is constantly getting slower, year after year. He's producing less renders every year, less story progression every year while adding more content for the 2nd MC. It really doesn't matter if the sidejobs are getting cut off.

Point is move the story forward with sex..LP has created alot of paths for all possible outcomes with every characters...so don't develop like sex is end of the path..developer has corrupted sophia to 300% filthy route in last 5+ years....so now just give some action while moving the story forward. If he keep up just teasing more and more with upcoming updates and more background stories from zero level with new characters and end the update in handjob...it will leave audience as per me disappointing and unsatisfactory. Story can be move forward with sex easily without ending path of Sophia with those characters.

Aiden is not due to return, (if he ever does, IMO he's gone), until 2030, at the current rate of development. That represents 2 days from where he last appeared on a Saturday, to the Monday that Sophia gets called into school. There's also the fact that many anti-blackmail lobbyists who were gifted the Don Morello option to get rid of him, took this choice. Aiden's tasks are most decidedly nothing to do with what makes AWAM so slow.

If only there was a further choice to see the back of Dylan. I don't wish him hospitalised with a baseball bat, just signed up by a scout from a European football club. He'd be on the way to a life most teens can only dream about & could still come home for visits. He could still do his incest thing but those who aren't interested in it would be granted the same courtesy as the Aiden haters.

Dylan being Sophia's son would, IMO, be the least likely candidate for a corruption route. Attractive, restless, women wanting something different don't usually conclude that their own son is the answer. L&P leaving him until late in the game for consummation even has echoes of the veneer of realism AWAM used to possess.

All of this would be solved if he abandoned the slow burn model and actually built off the tension in story archs rather than backing off for the " cool down " period. He's doing it to himself at this point.
