My understanding of Dylan’s & Ellie’s popularity is that patrons want to see their relationship with Sophia advance faster than any other. Offering them more screen time than other characters in this game. I don’t see it as creating scenes from Dylan’s or Ellie’s POV! Or if there should be independent scenes of them, they should be short just to explain the development of their relationship with Sophia.

Maybe someone of the regular patrons here in F95 could explain :unsure:

IMO, I think that what people wanted was for Sophia to remain the MC, add more events with Dylan and Ellie, and remove or limit the lower ones. But for some reason, he decides to make Dylan a 2nd MC based on Sophia's thoughts on getting him a GF, so Dylan's POV has to be added. Ellie may be on the rise to becoming a 3rd MC, as that's what seems to be happening because, like Dylan, Ellie will also have POV. She had her first one on the swing with Dylan.

As for the side jobs, I don't know if he will conclude them because the second side job is popular in the polls. If he makes a Steam version, the second side job will have to go, but he might be able to keep the first one. However, if he wants to keep everyone happy, he could create three different versions (AWAM, DoL, and AWAM Steam,) but that would mean triple the workload and a potential downsize of events from event releases to half event releases. So, 30+ years to 60+ years. :ROFLMAO:

Popular in the polls yes but it has not helped him to build up his paid members fan base.

In my opinion it's just a matter of imagination and creativity. It doesn't have to be chopped off with some elaborated reasoning. The in-game time span is actually very short, so it is not unthinkable the next session is just postponed to next week due to whatever - family emergency, unexpected visit, etc. Sophia can then be a bit disappointed, make her funny face and think: "I can survive without this class, but can those little rascals?". The end.
He can even add it later on, or whatever.

You will get the option to leave the side jobs.
The care home job will be the first one to finished then the apostles.

Logically, yes - but logic has been gradually abandoned and those story lines became quite intrinsic.

I think it was already stated somewhere, but even if not - it is anticipated, indeed. In my opinion, like them or not, it makes little sense to chop them off now, after several sessions of each. The story will even more look like, nomen omen, Swiss cheese.

That was my first thought as well, but is there any visible opposition to this from his enablers? At this stage of audacity, he probably doesn't care about their opinions either.

As I posted before, I think he's taking turns to satisfy one group at a time. That's also the main reason why we even have so many side/bonus/nonsense storylines in the first place.

Well, like they say, Porn sells, and he's not making a "Porn" game. Remember, It's an "Erotic Novel"... :cautious: Most people want Sophia to cheat ASAP, which in L&P's world is about 20+ years.

So he could have her have sex ASAP, but the thing is, did he wait too long to make that happen to get additional subs? Also, If Steam is now a "golden goose" for him, and he presents this current AV model on Steam with no Sophia sex, I think he will get crucified.

It looks like that's what's going to happen. Requirements are different. That doesn't mean triple workload but... probably more work.

I still regret not having tried relationship "camouflage" earlier. 1 game, different results depending on patch.

As much as it is good to be here and exchange thoughts in such a great community, we inevitably must come to realization there is no repair to this project.

The only way to "navigate" it was through control of the financial incentives. For various reasons it has failed, and now it is clear more than ever it is "my way, or highway" - even at the cost of tweaking it beyond any recognition.

For almost 6 years now I've seen multiple, more or less noble, attempts to save the continuously degrading development and chaotic story writing. I guess it's time to accept this one's a lost cause.

L&P answered me that both side jobs are completely DLC, they are not important for the plot and have nothing to do with the plot
