True, but making him a virtual nonentity is stagnation.
If he's out then give him a decent exit that moves the story forward.
Again just my opinion.

While I was never a Liam fan he was designed as part of the storyline and if the dev wants to change up the VN he has to address a way to limit or get rid of the husband in a way that is copacetic with the story.
By limiting or eliminating the husband the dev would need to recreate the VN having the wife transform into a single mother.
However if the dev removes Liam there is less of an impediment to finally having the wife's sexual antics increase or actually happen. I think the storyline would have been better if the plot where the family had to move was initially because of the loss of Liam.
As the family begins to readjust to their new dynamic the daughter, like the mother, could become more sexually aggressive. As for the son personally I like him less than Liam, so I don't know maybe eaten by a pack of rabid badgers.
But if Liam is to be written out he need to be written out not just sidelined for the sake of convenience or lack of fan support.
Honestly... With the number of "Dad is dead" games out there... This one is absolutely ripe for killing off Liam at some point. ONLY on the naughty path though. Towards the end maybe. I seen the "dad is dead" trope used so many fucking time, but never does a game kill the dad off during the gameplay. It always starts after dad is already gone.

You guys talking about excessive nonessential renders are right. Its one of the hard parts of being a solo dev and why i think for vn's and these genre ESPECIALLY you really need teams. You need a guy saying "look we dont need 20 renders for this scene of a conversation" etc

While I do agree less renders for nonessential game activity is optimum for any game particularly for a solo dev.
I would like to throw out a non-sex resolution to the school bully/thug problem.
The wife confides her problem to her never before mentioned brother who happens to be in SF.
He comes to town, recons the place where the gang meets which is basically a concert kill box. Strings up a few claymores in a daisy chain hooked to a mobile phone trigger (Always be sure and set the phone to not accept random calls. Premature detention because some telemarketer called about a credit card sucks), then from a vantage point wait until the bully show up, make a call and BOOM!

Well, I have to disagree, it's very erotic. If your definition of erotic is "put penis into vagina" then we have very different definitions of erotic :D But I would bet my erotic is far closer to the dictionary definition then yours  But okay, maybe young people think today in this porn flooded world a romantic date with their girlfriend is a ten-men-creampie-gangbang or so o_O

will the dev and every dev friend keep shaming everyone by calling that their definition of erotic is "penis inside vagina"? everyone that knows how to read can see the "..you can make slow building without making 2 good wife versions" i mean unless your trolling to get a reaction from me, i would suggest that instead of building "a shame everyone" marketing strategy for your game that you actually change and improve your game

Doesn't sound like this game is for you. Which is fine. After your couple of tries I would suggest not playing the game again.

The problem is the Slow Build is making the Slow Burn look like a Chef trying to Cook a Turkey with a few twigs. I'm sure people wouldn't be noticing the lack of Sex so much if he bought a proper BBQ and some Briquettes. Until the last few updates I was starting to think Sophia might need Botox if she kept frowning like that. It's an improvement that she now opens her Dressing Gown, but she was waltzing around with a Dressing Gown open (and Topless underneath) in the 1st Release so we're really just back on Day 1, so really the improvement is only a return to form because its actually gone backwards in the 18 months since, that's what we're looking at when we keep saying "It's a Slow Burn game" here. The Slow Build is far more incredible when you consider the Dev has targets on his Patty Page saying "I'll buy a bigger PC if I get this" or whatever. He bought a new PC after Hiking to Azerbaijan and buying the wrong GPU etc. yet releases less and less by the month since. I applaud his Sale Skills I really do, 'cus despite all this his numbers keep growing and growing so he's doing something most Dev's can only dream of, so well done. Roll on Ver 0.07555.555 ;););)
