The problem with AWAM is that it is all buildup and no payoff.
If it were non erotic / pornographic and were just regular media...
Imagine a youtube creator doing the following things:
A man sets up a bunch of dominoes carefully piece by piece making an elaborate domino setup. He ends the video before pushing the first one over and starting the chain reaction.
Next video he adds a few more dominoes and switches to something else. He sets up a bucket over the door with water in it for a prank to play on someone. He stands there watching the bucket saying, "Just wait this will be awesome!" for a minute... Another camera shoots to someone about to walk in the door! The video ends before anyone walk in.
This time it is a cooking tutorial! He puts a bunch of tasty looking ingredients into a pot, and stick it in the oven. He never shows the finished food and ends the video before that.
Next video is a treasure hunt! They got a map with a big red X on it. They get to the location with the X on the map and have a shovel in hand. Video ends when they start digging. The treasure is never shown.
They do a woodworking tutorial next video. After carving up some wood when it is halfway put together the video ends without showing the completed bird house.
They build up on how they plan on proposing to their girlfriend at the baseball game. The video ends as he gets down on one knee without seeing if she said yes or not.
None of these ever get a conclusion. That is the entire channel, and other videos of similar nature. Each video also has follow up videos and you get a little closer to hitting the payoff, but you don't.
This is the AWAM style. Build up and build up and build up... When you get close to the payoff cut away, and do something else. Make another build up repeat. Go back to an old build up, and build up some more.
I foresee that this is actually a massive problem for AWAM in the long term although it has worked up until now. Because, due to the amount of build up and waiting between releases. No pay off will ever be enough due to the over build up. Very few people will be satisfied. Even if they hired 10 expert daz artists to animate the scenes, and made them the best scenes in any adult game. It still wouldn't be enough. There is simply too much build up!
People have grown use to the build up style. That paradigm shift will come at a considerable loss of support. For the supporters were paying for the build up, and not the payoff.
