Is there any chance that developer will do a step back and revive the old Sophia model? Her new look ruins the whole game for me. She was the hottest MILF of all VNs. Now I hardly recognize her. There is something odd happening with her face. She looked ugly during the animated scene with Ellie. Even her hair colour is worse than at the beginning of the game. I want old Sophia from part 1 back!

I feel like this developer doesn't know what to do anymore feeling more and more like he lost control of his own game to his subscribers and is too scared to even commit to a storyline
This game has been problematic since day 1, almost 7 years ago, because the dev had no idea how to manage this project. It started with something like "full 30 in-game days already written from the start to the end" which led to dev unwilling to budge from his vision, especially at the first release overpraise by some people. Making a game based on his vision is fine if it's reasonable, but that doesn't mean that one should just turn a blind eye on any feedback.

My main criticism about the game from back then remained the lack of actual plot. It's basically just Sophia's life (which is now becoming more and more switched to Dylan/Ellie's life too) of her going around doing whatever. There isn't enough hook to last for 30 in-game days because there is no plot. Yet, dev already promised and swore on 30 in-game days. So what we got is just constant random this and that instead of continuation of engaging plot. One update you get about the nursing home if you care, another update you get the neighbor, three updates later then maybe the hairdresser, and so on.

Add to the fact that it has been almost 7 years of development, we do have to wonder whether the game would be old enough to vote in an election before it could finish. Finish what? I have no idea what the end goal of this game at all. Why? Because there is no plot.

Well, not my type of update. How long of a vacation LnP will take? 3-4 weeks?

At this rate he is better off time skipping and focusing on Sophia's story. He can go back later to add the side characters stories as dlc.

Also, get rid of this new face wtf

That’s kind of where I’m at. From the jump, Dylan’s been portrayed as kind of a creep who doesn’t take no for an answer, and constantly preys on his mother and sister. That’s some serial killer stuff, and it just makes any progression with him feel “gross” to me. Sam may be morally gray on the age front, but at least that comes off as more of a puppy love kind of thing, and most of all, they’re not related.

With all this talk about “slow burn”, it will be funny when (if) this game is ever completed to see how when irl time is disregarded, how fast the Parkers actually go from a regular upper-middle class family to a collective of the worst kind of degenerate inbred white trash who would make Jerry Springer blush. My point is that is just seems like a “slow burn” because of the glacial release schedule, and insanely bloated roadmap making it feel like there’s not much happening in the way of progression.

It’s like the Berserk boat ride, but way worse.
Isn't Harley Quinn and that boy in the gray zone too?

I agree on that last part of what you said, but you know high-class does that kind of shit, the only difference in AWAM, is that there's no background of abuse so it makes the story incoherent, because to be in that category, the story have to be really perverted, that's why I was only expecting teasing and not handjobs and cumming or even oral, this doesn't makes sense or it would take some serious desperation and boldness to open up about it and actually do it. Also, to conclude I'm not wishing about the dark path to justify this element, I'm just saying that this is sadly deeprooted in it...

Hi guys, can you help me? In the new update i can't play the sauna scene with Ellie, even if i'm pretty sure i did everything in the first part of the game to do so(club scene, tyler, interest in Ellie etc). Someone can suggest me a way to fix it? I know i can play the scene from the gallery, but i'd like to fix it for the future.

Considering what had happened with Sophia's character in this update, he DESPERATELY NEEDS vacation, long holidays. He had zoomed into a vision of a 28yo dumb bimbo unrealistic Sophia, while trying to make the side characters important, and now is all over the place where nothing makes sense and it makes him look as lost and wandering around with no direction at all.

He connects events, he connects places and characters, but he cannot connect plots and perspectives. The characters are mutating, not developing. The main character is empty and lost acting against her own essence without a single emotion rather than remorse that last 2/3 renders, and side characters are starting to behave like sociopaths instead of respectable humans. This Ellis is unlikeable. This Dylan is unlikeable. This Liam (another fucked up character btw) is also unlikeable.

Is this "The Parkers" or The Simpsons? Maybe The Adam's Family? I don't know, at this point I don't like any of them, not a single one. It's a fully disfunctional family. Dylan will be in jail at 23. Ellie will be a club waitress abused by the 40ish owner. Liam will suicide or escape to RRDD and marry overseas. Sophia will become a cocaine addicted escort agency madame.

God, it's a mess. And honestly? I don't care anymore. This game and our Sophia are lodged deeply in my limbic system. During game's development I had married, I changed jobs, I moved countries, I've seen glowing peaks of joy and crumbled under stress into darkest depths. Yet Sophia was there all this time: she changed multiple times, like we all do, following illogical and irrational whims. She wanted to appeal to everyone and in the end nobody liked her.

Sophia's character reveals a meta-tragedy of a developer who started with a vision and then lost it, painfully, excruciatengly slowly, over large swathes of time. Their life over the years probably changed dramatically too, yet this one BURDEN of a game still drags behind them like a bloated corpse. The writing doesn't make sense anymore, all routes are compressed and suddenly move at lightning speed (oh, the irony) using the silliest premises, using any premise, really. Game's in-story timeline is just maddening, if you didn't experience its development timeline of months and years of waiting, of living your complicated messy lives.

Sophia emotionally whores herself 300 times a day now, yet blushes at the sight of a cock. Time skips and flash-forwards don't exist anymore either, developer doesn't allow any moments for a breath, for reflection: there is just one singular goal of dragging the corpse further. And further. And then just a little bit more. Anyone unfamiliar with the game who would play it whole in one sitting, will just scratch their eyes out. And in their newly found darkness, they will see it for what it is: broken mess of unfulfilled promises and an ugly monument to sponsors-driven development economy. When you allow audiences to vote with their wallets, it siphons the creator dry, making them a desperate rat pushing levers with heroine water. Making the fucking content. For everyone to enjoy. For everyone to hate. This what happens when you just. don't. allow. things. to. end.

It's day 21 for Sophia. while I got gray hairs already. I will grow older than her soon. I was so happy to see her eat out her little girl in the lockers. Maybe it means that the end will come soon. One day, she will be free of this game. Oh, Sophia, I hope you will.

Wow, the best female protagonist game updated, great, great, great, developer, don't pay attention to negative comments, as Christ says: the right path is always a path that people run away from, you are right, developer, keep going

Just lesbian sex is missing...rest everything will be same...Dylan might have content in next update with Ellie story... Ellie will either go for Logan or Dylan probably...that will be hetrosexual but again sophia will be out of focus...sophia tease with Patricia update might arrive Xmas or New year...if developer work on time..which I highly doubt.
Whatever happened to Ellie’s blonde girlfriend? I thought the scene with her and Sophia was hot.

I always though that once Sophia has sex 2/3 times, the game ends, before the 30 days. I always though that will be the end of the game, the author knows that, and that is why he tries to delay penetration events.

Sophia has losts her personality, has lost her brain, has lost her original image and is now a 28yo unrealistic bimbo, but she is still "a virgin" in terms of debauchery. Once she lost that, most people will get rid of the TOC of watching development.

It's the same as when you date a girl in a club, its just lust, no real human connection. You bring her home, you get her naked, you fuck her with energy, with passion, then you cum all over her and... ALL the interests are gone in 0.000001s, you come back to your senses and realise you actually have no interest on her, it was just lust and ego (for the young kids reading this dont be that judgemental as this in time will be one of the strongest lessons you will learn in your life, just wait).

I think people will experience the same with Sophia, once she gets fucked for most people will be "well, done, nothing left, bye bye!" and LP knows. What is he in life without AWAM? Maybe that is the problem, he relies on the novel too much and he cannot leave, he is trapped too into the Patreon dependency.
