I believe that Subscribestar's customer base (which allows a number of creators who might violate PayPal's TOS) is why it is not available as a payment method.

This is a quote from PayPal's website:

I don't know how much of L&P's patreonage could shift to SS without a payment issue, but I do think that the more supporters who can shift, the better the chance that another Patreon witch hunt will not cripple or kill AWAM.

As was informed to us by Bibifoc Patreon knows about Awam as well but they don't care. They only evaluated DOL and asked him to make changes to it.
I don't know the specifics about Jackerman but if he was only collecting funds from Patreon and delivering only on Discord that would be a problem. L&P provides DOL on Patreon every update.

They use their 'community guidelines' as a weapon to go after some creators (but not all) who are operating outside those guidelines.

Patreon may well be looking the other way Right Now... that does not guarantee that this status quo will continue.

There are some sources that say Patreon has been talking about going through an IPO (rumors for an IPO in 2021 did not pan out - perhaps the rumors were false or COVID prompted a delay - I have no inside track so I can't do more than speculate on why or if there was a delay). Any investor who wants to buy Patreon will perform their due diligence and, depending on the investor and the country of origin (the morality guidelines, when compared to the U.S., may be easier or harder to meet), Patreon will either continue to turn a blind eye to AWAM and other creations pushing their guidelines or they will put the offenders on notice.

I just think that mitigating the risk of a major hit to L&P's income stream (which would damage or kill AWAM development for some months to permanently), would be the smart choice.

There is also this particular combination that is curious: you can send Dylan to boarding school and refuse Bennett (both even at the very first occasion) and you still have the possibility of doing the Morello route, going "full" Larry and Morello will own Sophia a favour that she cannot cash, at least with the info we have so far. Sure, the debt will be extinguished, though.

Currently the debt will be called in a little under 2 months after the end of the game, so not really a concern at the moment. Plus Carl could pay it off with his play money, so I don't really see the debt as a risk.

So since I have no use with a favour from Morello in my playthrough, I quit the Prison scene at the earliest opportunity. Like the Dylan and Sam routes, when I see a point in playing their routes, I may change my mind.

I like this game, but I need to see more of claire. Would love to see her and sophia together.

Unfortunately not really on the horizon at the moment, since the only real point to Claire as a character as things currently stand is for Marie to be the LI of Dylan.

Though with this info i could see the Janitor being the second solution. He might help Sophia for something in return. Last time he said he won't call the police if Sophia just bathed in front of him. Maybe he will ask for something different this time as a one time thing for helping Sophia with Aiden.

True, one should be safe than sorry. Subscribestar needs to grow a little more for creators and supporters to actively move to it. But that's the thing, once it gets recognition they do will start enforcing such guidelines aswell like Patreon.

As far as I know, a judge in the USA has just allowed a lawsuit because of the distribution of child pornography that goes against pornhub, but above all also involves VISA. Sooner or later this will become the main problem here, too, that financial service providers don't want to have this problem. Even if it's only games here, the reaction of Patreon shows what they really fear.

I too don't like the line. I don't know about how L&P thought when he was starting back in 2017. He didn't seem that serious about the game in the beginning. So maybe this was a line from him back then but he later edited his patreon description since he didn't agree with the line anymore. Because the current L&P really values the game, we might all have different viewpoints on what is better for the game but he wants to uphold the game's quality that's still true. And he does seem to cherish his Sophia or atleast the model and it's representation. Atleast that's what I understood from talking to him and seeing his messages here or on mail. Now the truth is only known to L&P so one never knows.

Kinda depends on what actually happened with Patreon. If they were getting complaints because of the second side job, then L&P could absolutely make this a small event with nothing interesting happening with the shota boys. They do have another event on PD14, so little in terms of in-game time will have been lost if their content was postponed a day.

In that case he should make completely new renders for the apostles.
If Dylan and Sam needed a complete make-over,I doubt the shotas can get a pass from Patreon.

L&P went on a bit of a rant and let slip that "Sophia’s first possible sex scene on a special filthy route will happen on playable day 19 of 30!". He deleted the post, but someone else quoted it, so you can still read what he wrote. It's under spoiler #5.

The problem is that PD19 have not a hetero sex scene planned.And according to his new plan PD16 will have 2.

I've said it before I feel a little cautious about this being so quick to be made.

Not complaining just slightly raising my eyebrow. I mean sure this will surely just take place in the one room, but why is the teaser solely just showcasing the daughter?

If she ends up joining the kids in being tutored, then there goes any care I had for this route. At that point it will either be another young girl that wants Sophia (we have enough characters for that) or some shit with Sophia spying on the 3 boys doing whatever with the sister (which I doubt anyone here wants to see, like I said keep this event between Sophia and the boys).

Again, don't take this comment as a complaint towards the game, just an assumption and a complaint about my own assumptions/guess/hypothesis.
